I just did a test on the movo mic compared to this mic on my tascam dr-40. I made a video and did a test side by side. Now I was expecting sony to sound better. When I was editing in my video editor I would say it sounded like 10% better than the cheap 40.00 movo mic.

We have been using the Sony ECM44B lavalier mics for over 25 years in both studio and on-location productions. They last a long time, and are easy on the budget. We have periodically used other lavalier mics, but have never found any that work as well as the these for the price.

I do a lot of filming in the Holy Land and wireless mic systems are not always allowed. This EMC-44B is just what I depend on to maintain the same audio quality as the Sony wireless mic. I've also been a TV journalist for many years and this mic is all we used. Great for the price.

I have used this so far for an interview indoors and echo is too a minimum and it is really easy to clip the mic onto the subject and included gear. I have also used it outdoors on a fairly windy day while doing a performance involving pouring water.

Havent used my purchase but very familiar with this product from use in television at various stations. Quality product. It goes without saying but it is easy to do and I have seen it multiple times, make sure you take the battery out.

Nice quality, affordable, wired Lav Mic. Works great with my Zoom h4n recorder.

I tested with a 40.00 mic and it sounds no different at all. They actually sound the same.

I conduct interviews for magazine articles and so I need nice, clean recordings for easy transcription. I am very pleased with this mic and will likely buy another one in the near future.

It has a bit of a large profile, but the sound is good.
