If you're after a simple point and shoot camera that'll slip easily into a pocket or bag and perform reliably, the W800 fits the bill. But if you pay just a little more you can get cameras with longer zooms and better quality.
I wanted a camera that was simple to use, but still takes a great picture and this camera was just what I was looking for. I used it for my recent trip to Aruba and all of the pictures came out great! The battery also lasted extremely long--it was a 5 day trip and I only had to charge it once!
I bought this camera for a recent vacation with 3 criteria. 1) Good quality pictures 2) easy to use 3) pocket sized so I didn't have anything to lug around. Check, check & check! Great little camera and very much worth the price.
We had this camera before, but managed to damage the old one. These are worth every penny. If you are looking for a good quality camera that will not break the bank...this is it. Picture quality is very good and keeping it on auto this camera really adjusts to changing situations. I like it a lot.
I do own a good D-SLR, but... I was leaving for a week trip to the beach, I wanted to buy a small pocket camera last minute, as my previous one was broken. My web research showed me I had either choice of buying this cheap one, or use my phone, or grow the budget to at least 300 $. So...
