The Sony Cyber-shot H400 is a budget super-zoom with a massive 63.3x zoom lens boasting a range of 24.4 to 1550mm. It's the longest zoom range on any Sony super-zoom and it's on one of their least expensive models. What's that all about then?
Massive 63.3x zoom lens.
Poor electronic viewfinder quality., CCD streaking artifacts on movies., No Photo Creativity modes., No customisation options., No 1080p full HD video., Limited Picture Effects., No Wifi.
Great for those who want to start having total control over her photos and videos, the Sony DSC-H400 is a bridge camera with countless features and, in particular, a high zoom, the optical image stabilizer, an electronic viewfinder and full manual controls.
Manual controls; Zoom high; Electronic Viewfinder; Optical Image Stabilizer; Intelligent Auto Mode automatically; Autonomy; Resolution; Opening goal.
No support for the RAW format; HD movies only; Display resolution is not very high.
This is a very nice camera. It has a great lens, simple to operate, and a great screen on the back side to view your photos. Good stuff.
This is my second sony cybershot the first was a much older model from 2003. Over all I am very happy with this camera. I recently used it on a trip to Costa Rica. The landscape shots were awesome. The wildlife shots were great too if the wildlife was still.
Easy To Use, Good Image Quality, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color
Lag / Shutter Delay, Short Battery Life
This camera has THE most wonderful zoom lens I have every experienced. From the wide angle position, I can spot a bump on a tree limb a quarter of a mile off. Then I can zoom in enough to use his pupil for positive identification.
This is the camera that we have been looking for and it has filled all of our expectations that we wanted in a camera. And the price is an exceptional bargain.
takes a good picture, easy to use
