When someone asks you how do you enjoy your music, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Would it be you sitting in a room with speakers blasting tunes, or in your reading corner with headphones on and a good book, or even on your evening jog with earphones pumping adrenaline inducing beats...
Comfortable, Feature packed, Sound quality
Sony’s WI-1000x headphones are the constant travelers perfect headphones. It’s a statement that lacks humility but I speak from the perspective of the constant traveler. I live in NYC and you don’t have to be a native to know that its fast moving, crowded and noisy…noisy as hell.
Finding a decent wireless noise cancelling headphone that has a good battery life and great sound can be tough. But finding one that’s in-ear and lasts more than 8-hours is even harder. The Sony WI-1000X wireless noise-canceling headphone may just be the answer.
If you can’t stand over-ear headphones, the Sony WI-1000X are a great in-ear alternative. The inclusion of aptX HD support makes the Sonys one of the best wireless headphones we’ve heard. While battery life may just be average, the WI-1000X are a great set of headphones for audiophiles on the go.
Audiophile wireless sound, Good noise cancellation, Unique features
Average battery life, Adaptive Sound Control is slow, No multi-point connection
The best of both worlds - great sound and noise-cancelling capabilities - make these a smart choice
Punchy bass, Insightful midrange, Well balanced, Range of noise-cancelling modes
Neckband could be more flexible
I have finally found earbuds that I can listen to while I mow the grass, and hear the music without having it turned up so loud I risk going deaf! These work great at blocking lawnmower noise, I estimate it reduced the mower noise by 75%.
Excellent sound quality and noise cancellingReally good battery lifeComfortable earbuds
not very useful in noise cancelling, even qc20 is better. But in general, is ok
These sound amazing and the noise cancelling works excellently! Okay, it’s not to the standard of the over ear model but these are small in ear buds; better than any other competitor easily!!
The best headphones I ever had. Great sound. Perfect fit. Noise reduction is very good, however there is a slight noise when there is no music playing. That is why I can give only 4 stars. I hope Sony makes a update to salve this.
I recommend it for office and listening to music. Not ideal for working out or sports. Points of improvement: to be able to connect it to devices simultaneously, better battery, to be able to use it while charging.
Brilliant product, and I'm so glad I chose these. The battery life is excellent, sound fantastic and easy to use. The instructions are a little challenging but once you've read them a couple of times it all makes sense!
Bought these having previously used wired Bose in-ear noise cancelling headphones from the moment they were released. I briefly tried Airpods but found them poor in many ways. These headphones sound... amazing.
I am not able to connect the 1000X with a new Sony TV 43X8305C. Strange.
Each of the press button controls could be easier to locate due to location is touch only when wearing headphones.
I upgraded from a pair of MDR-EX750 which I really liked but wanted Bluetooth connection because I use an iPhone 8. The sound quality is much improved and the app is a very useful add on which works very well. The downside is that the 1000x simply don’t fit my ears as comfortably as the EX750.
