Sony 32GB HDR-PJ540 Full HD Handycam Camcorder with Built-in Projector (Black)

Bells and whistles aside, the main joy of the HDR-PJ540 is that the video comes out crisp and lifelike. Skintones are vibrant and not washed out, and though I haven't tried any true night shooting, sunny days and cloudy days alike make for great video with this camera.

This is such a great camera! Even better was the price on it. It records such nice and clear pictures. It is very easy to use. We also like to use it as a projector.

So far this has worked great in everything I have tried it for. THe software is pretty weak, easier just to get a card reader usb adapter, but besides that the features are great, quality of the video is great with multiple codecs, tons of lenses you can buy, tracking is good, and the zoom and...

The battery doesn't charge anymore (after one week of use) I hope it's Under warrenty. It doesn't make any difference when we use lens for macro or have more zoom. Tripode is not good. But the camescope itself is good.

Camera OK, but feel it is not made to withstand much abuse from handling. Other items are of mediocre quality. Battery and charger seems to be OK, time will tell. Lenses do very little on camera.

For a modestly priced video camera, this little gem is outstanding. My main reason for purchasing this camera was because it has external audio input and I sometimes use a mixer or shotgun mike. It also has a headphone input for monitoring the recording.

Bought one of these to replace a cx330 I'd owned for a couple of years in the hope of getting better video quality at indoor events, like school concerts, dance recitals, etc. Sadly, the video from this camera under those conditions is indistinguishable from the video out of a camera that cost half...

So far this has been a great camera. Looking forward to doing a lot of video recording with this!
