Without question the WH-1000XM2 are an exceptional pair of headphones are great for travel thanks to its noise cancelling and ambient aware feature. They have a clean design mostly relying on touch controls which work great but may not be a cup of tea for everyone.

I love the Sony 1000XM2 headphones. The sound is great and the noise cancellation is great. The app works well on my Axon 7 and improves the experience even more. The noisecancellation is at least on par with my Bose QC-25 and the sound is better. The Sony is not as comfortable as the Bose QC-25.

Bought these for a long distance plane ride to overseas. Wow! I thought I was in my living room at home listening to music and movies. Noise cancellation sensational. Excellent sound quality, could clearly hear the crappy quality of the onboard music recordings. We'll balanced high's and low's.

It’s fair to say that by now most people who have an interest in wireless headphones know that the top 3 headphones for noise cancelling are Bose, Sony and Sennheiser.

  - Excellent wireless sound quality and signal. Touch controls. Excellent battery life. Good passive noise cancellation. Goes nice and loud. Pairs fast to your phone.

  - Expensive. Not as comfortable as Sennheiser 598 for example. Potentially fragile (previous model suffered with cracking headband - so far so good with this model though).

LOVE these headphones!! Its very peaceful...work is liveable because I can silence the “snorer” that works behind me! They’ve also reinvigorated my love of music because of the clarity of the sound.

After taking the leap from in-ears, I wanted a product that could make the most of Spotify and SoundCloud streaming on the go (320kb/s) without going 'too high end' for my mobile device. These headphones outdid themselves song-after-song and just the features alone amazed me.

I have been waiting ages to save up and decide on the noise cancelling headphones I wanted...kept going between these and the Bose QC35ii. Bose probably win it by a small margin on comfort, while the Sonys sound quality is just that bit better to get those goosebumps going on your favourite track.

Great sound quality! One of the best sounding noise cancelling headphone's on the market, if not the best. Placing a hand over the right housing to pause noise cancelling to have a conversation is a really great feature.

So pleased I purchased these I won't go into detail as there is already enough in other customer reviews, for the price paid i cannot fault them. I did consider the Bose competitor and had a demonstration but for me the Sony won the day.

Good headphones. Excellent sound quality, for me it’s just the right balance between bass and treble and good clear speech. The headphones are comfortable to wear and not sweaty after a couple of hours use and not too heavy.
