for the money this is a great tripod to start with for photography and even glassing during a hunt. its super lightweight and extends well more than what i'll ever need. all in all great buy!
Amateur's can delight with the ease of use this tripod provides. Professionals can use this tripod to mount flash equipment!

Lightweight enough to carry around on your back.

Requires screwdriver for mounting camera to base.
Overall, I am very impressed with this tripod. At first it looked like the tripod was only the certain height it came packed as, although once I looked closer the legs have two retractable legs built into them! Here I have a 5ft+ tall tripod all compacted into 2ft, what a great surprise. :)

Rather rugged for a tripod, the plastic is durable and the aluminum is quality. The quick release camera attachment is a nice feature if you need to go mobile real fast.

Buttons on the legs could wear out eventually, at least that is how it feels. Everything is constructed nicely, but this could be a minor weak point if there is too much buttoning going on.
I bought this tripod to use with my DSLR in situations where I need to pack light and travel by foot. The tripod has performed extremely well and I've even been able to get smooth pans and tilts with a little concentration and finesse.
For the price, you can't go wrong with this tripod! I mainly use it for my digital camer, and it gets the job done. Highly recommending this for anyone looking for a cheap tripod.
I have not taken it to the field but setting it up with my big 16x glass I am fairly pleased. It is light enough to pack and sturdy enough to stabilize in a moderate breeze. Good simple design, it seems robust enough but time will be the judge of durability.
Buy this tripod if you need a good and durable tripod at a cheap price.

The screw on the base of the plate that you attach your camera too is very hard to keep tightened for any length of time.
The best features of this tripod are definitely the light weight and the folded length. I needed something for my first international shoot and had explored many different tripods. A friend recommended this one and it worked perfectly.
Very light ,quick to set up and with another Replacement Quick Shoe you just snap off one camera and add other.
I use this tripod with the Sony NEX-VG20. It is perfect for me. Easy to fold and unfold, very stable and not heavy if you compare with others. Small size when it is folded but when it is extended, my camera get higher than me (72). I would recommend for sure.
