It's a bit heavier than I wanted but I don't see myself carrying it very far. I wanted something tall enough that I wouldn't have to bend over and sturdy enough to handle long lenses. The 3 way head will take some getting used to but I like how solid it is.
I use the Slik tripod in both a home studio and in the field. In the studio, the tripod is great. It is sturdy and easy to manipulate the head. The height is widely variable and covers most needs. In the field, the tripod is a bit heavy and clunky.
I love this Slik tripod. It is easy to use and good quality. It bit heavy but, ok.

Used this at the beach for a week and was able to get some great HDR without having to use a remote trigger (it was very...
Easy to use and very versatile
