I needed a lightweight tripod, that could support a 7D with lens, as I was on a trip, and wanted to take some photos of scenery. I have a sturdier one that I use for jobs, but I didn't want to have to cart it all over.
I really like this tripod. Its very sturdy and well made. Have been using this for a while now with no issues.
I bought this tripod a few weeks ago for to use with my 15x56 binoculars while hunting. It is a little shaky compared to the Manfrotto tripods but it does it's job and it is relatively light.
I am disabled & in a wheelchair, but get around just fine. I needed a solid tripod for the close-up macro photography and astro-photography I shoot with a Nikon D5200. The SLIK Pro 330EZ is perfect for me. It is lighter than my old tripod but feels more solid in the pan/tilt head. Love it!
This is my second pro 330 EZ and couldn't ask for more. For the money you can't beat this tripod. My tripods dont get treated well. They are used for pack in trips due to being light weight and have to fight the elements. Everything stands up well, just try to keep the head clean.
This tripod is great for the price and VERY easy to use. It took me a few minutes to realize how to utilize its full range of tilting movement, but once you get the hang of it, it's dead simple to use. And EXTREMELY light! I really wasn't expecting that.
Im a western hunter and i rely on my gear to take a beating and still work the way it should. I recently took this tripod on a mule deer hunt. I used it for my spotting scope, binoculars and to shoot off of. Even in the windy conditions, it held my spotting scope still.
This is a light and sturdy tripod with nice action on the pan head for moving shots or video. I can take off the head and the hole unit fits my back pack great.
My flimsy plastic $20 tripod finally broke on me a few weekends back and I decided it was time to invest in something a bit nicer. I looked at several models in the $80-$125 price range and finally settled on this unit.
I have used the tripod for landscapes and macro photos. I have no complaints nor problems with it. It fits into my backpack's tripod holder easily and adds unnoticeable weight. It's good product and well made.
