I am disabled & in a wheelchair, but get around just fine. I needed a solid tripod for the close-up macro photography and astro-photography I shoot with a Nikon D5200. The SLIK Pro 330EZ is perfect for me. It is lighter than my old tripod but feels more solid in the pan/tilt head. Love it!
I needed a lightweight tripod, that could support a 7D with lens, as I was on a trip, and wanted to take some photos of scenery. I have a sturdier one that I use for jobs, but I didn't want to have to cart it all over.
Its a very well made tripod, its easy to set up, the all metal tilt head feels solid and have levels to fine tuning camera position. Its posible to change the tilt head for another one or a ballhead. Its very stable for its weight, just watch out not to overload in windy conditions.
I really like this tripod. Its very sturdy and well made. Have been using this for a while now with no issues.
This is a light and sturdy tripod with nice action on the pan head for moving shots or video. I can take off the head and the hole unit fits my back pack great.
Im a western hunter and i rely on my gear to take a beating and still work the way it should. I recently took this tripod on a mule deer hunt. I used it for my spotting scope, binoculars and to shoot off of. Even in the windy conditions, it held my spotting scope still.
My flimsy plastic $20 tripod finally broke on me a few weekends back and I decided it was time to invest in something a bit nicer. I looked at several models in the $80-$125 price range and finally settled on this unit.
I have used the tripod for landscapes and macro photos. I have no complaints nor problems with it. It fits into my backpack's tripod holder easily and adds unnoticeable weight. It's good product and well made.
This is a very good entry level tripod package for the price/value. The tripod/head is light weight and is comfortable enough to carry for hunting. We also use for a steady view with a point and click camera. I mainly use this tripod for hunting though.
Love the padded legs for ease of carrying and the wing-nut like design that lets you attach the camera securely to the head. That's a nice improvement over lower cost tripods. Nice tight construction and a good entry level tripod that sets up quickly. Quick release legs round out the best features.
