I needed a lightweight tripod, that could support a 7D with lens, as I was on a trip, and wanted to take some photos of scenery. I have a sturdier one that I use for jobs, but I didn't want to have to cart it all over.
I bought this tripod a few weeks ago for to use with my 15x56 binoculars while hunting. It is a little shaky compared to the Manfrotto tripods but it does it's job and it is relatively light.
I am disabled & in a wheelchair, but get around just fine. I needed a solid tripod for the close-up macro photography and astro-photography I shoot with a Nikon D5200. The SLIK Pro 330EZ is perfect for me. It is lighter than my old tripod but feels more solid in the pan/tilt head. Love it!
This tripod is great for the price and VERY easy to use. It took me a few minutes to realize how to utilize its full range of tilting movement, but once you get the hang of it, it's dead simple to use. And EXTREMELY light! I really wasn't expecting that.
My flimsy plastic $20 tripod finally broke on me a few weekends back and I decided it was time to invest in something a bit nicer.I looked at several models in the $80-$125 price range and finally settled on this unit.
I have used the tripod for landscapes and macro photos. I have no complaints nor problems with it. It fits into my backpack's tripod holder easily and adds unnoticeable weight. It's good product and well made.
I am more than happy with this tripod. It's not to heavy and is super quick to set up. The two levels are a great. My 50D and 18-200mm feels solid on this tripod.
Its a very well made tripod, its easy to set up, the all metal tilt head feels solid and have levels to fine tuning camera position. Its posible to change the tilt head for another one or a ballhead. Its very stable for its weight, just watch out not to overload in windy conditions.
This is a very good entry level tripod package for the price/value. The tripod/head is light weight and is comfortable enough to carry for hunting. We also use for a steady view with a point and click camera. I mainly use this tripod for hunting though.
great for on the go photo sessions, light weight easy to transport does not take up much space.
