Bought to use with new Tamron 150-600 lens which has an Arca-Swiss bracket. Worked very well with the ball flipped to the side as a pseudo-gimbal.
Nice smooth action when using my Sony A7Rii and 70-300mm lens combo (much better than the K20x I tired). The safety quick release works on my L-bracket too. I tried a couple of more expensive ball heads that I did not like as much.
Great; like the size and very smooth operation
I use it with Star Adventurer. Make sure you tighten the coupler to whatever is attached.
Very good ball head. Everything is made professionally. Holds camera and lens tight in landscape or portrait positions. Easily detaches to hand hold the DSLR; then easily reattaches for tripod shots. Ball head can support a lot of weight and keeps the camera and lens steady with no slipping.
I've used this ball head for a couple weeks now and it is a nice upgrade from the Manfrotto head I have used for many years. Fit and finish is good, the tension control works well and solidly holds my 80D and 400mm f/5.6 without creep.
Item is of high quality and finish. I. Using it on a tripod to mount a Sigma 150-600 and it will hold the weight just fine. Locks down strong and can adjust drag for moving lens and panning around.

Smooth operation. Strong lock and spins on the axis like a dream. Very glad I have it. Get one!
Camera movement can range from smooth and easy to locked tight with a twist of the main knob. Panning is smooth. All the parts are nicely finished. The only minor issue I have is that the pan lock knob is rather small in diameter and does not have a rubber grip surface like all the other knobs, but...
