Sigma 23mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens (Sony E)

The 23mm f1.4 DC DN is a very welcome addition to Sigma’s range of DC DN lenses designed for mirrorless cameras with cropped APSC sensors. Focusing is smooth and quiet, the details are sharp across the frame near and far at the maximum aperture, and there’s also potential for some attractive...

But the Sigma also manages to slightly undercut even the Fuji in size, and is dramatically smaller than the Viltrox. Being smaller, lighter, and cheaper will certainly make the Sigma 23mm DN the “just right” option for many people.

does well, and I’d be hard pressed to point to a better 35mm equivalent lens for APS-C. There’s going to a be a lot of photographers who love this lens for its amazing sharpness, compact size, and large maximum aperture.
