I was dubious whether the 28-70 F2.8 would be a big enough upgrade to the 20-60 Kit lens, and suffice to say, the improvement was clearly noticeable with the F2.8 constant aperture making a marked difference in my low light photography, plus the focal range is ideal for everyday use.
