Sigma’s 24mm f1.4 DG DN Art is a well featured wide-angle prime lens with a bright f1.4 focal ratio which lets you shoot longer under low light and produces quite a nice Bokeh for a wide-angle lens.
I´m a wedding photographer and I needed a lens with a wide angle and a good bokeh too. I think this lens is almost perfect.Very nice bokeh at 1.4, very sharp when adquire focus acurate. Cons AF is a bit slow and inconsistent, weight is a bit heavy but not importat.

Sigma has delivered some magic during recent years but the Sigma 24mm f/1.4 DG HSM | A stayed short of our expectations. The lens wasn't overly impressive on our full format camera and, surprisingly, it isn't all that hot in the APS-C scope either.
Sigma has done a great job rolling out excellent Art-series lenses and the Sigma 24mm f/1.4 Art is not an exception. As you can see from the previous pages of this review, the lens shines in a number of ways when compared to lenses like Nikon 24mm f/1.4G or Samyang 24mm f/1.4, with its impressive...
Sigma’s series of Art lenses is a great compliment to the company’s existing array of high-end, high-quality optics. The 24mm F/1.4 HG DSM Art is only slightly less capable than the 50mm model in the series and the $850 price tag makes it affordable for even the budget-minded photographer.
As I see it, there is always room on the market for another good ultra-wide aperture prime lens. Though I don't want to discount the AF inconsistency I occasionally encountered, Sigma continues to deliver greatness with their Art lenses and considering the performance the 24mm f/1.4 Art Lens is...

This lens is the latest addition to Sigma's 'Art' line of lenses that promise excellent optical quality and increased creative options thanks to a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture. Being one of Sigma's top of the range lenses, it sports a hypersonic focusing motor, brass lens mount and build quality...

Sigma really stepped it up with this lens. Shooting wide open has a very dreamy bokeh with an extremely sharp focus point. The auto focus works well with the Sony a9. The weight isn't so much that it isn't balanced well with the a9 and it feels comfortable to hold. This is a solid, well built lens.
A f/1.4 lens is meant to be used wide open at least sometimes (otherwise an f/2.8 lens is sure to be cheaper, lighter, and just as good). This one does meet expectations. Images shot wide open are pretty sharp already, and above all very "clean".

Sharpness; low aberrations; close focus; contrast; good working against the light

MF not that nice; AF precise but slow; size and weight of course
This has been one of my all time favorite lenses! It is a heavy lens for sure, but well worth it. The clarity and detail that I get is fantastic. This is also a very good lens for nighttime photography. The 1.4 aperture makes for great depth of field as well.
Received the Sigma 24MM f1.4 ART for Sony E-Mountand0 was impressed but not surprised as I had several Art lens for Canon before I switched over to Sony. Excellent build quality. Fast, quiet and fast/sharp focus, with less distortion that I would have expected.
This lens does not perform properly with the Canon EOS-R mirrorless camera. Any direct light will produce irreparable lens flare halo's to your images. Shooting with flashes or backlight will cause this issue and it is not avoidable.
Really love this lens. It is perfect for wide angle photography. It is well suited for the Sony E mount. A bit large for a small a7 (it looks funky), but it takes spectacular photos and video.
When I bought this lens - I was really hesitant. For the price and off brand - I feared aberration, noise and slow focus. To my surprise this lens not only focus quickly, its quiet and takes amazing photos. It's the best lens I own (disclosure: I'm an amateur photographer )
I already own the 50mm Art and 35mm Art. I decided to buy a second hand 24mm. These are precision optical instruments. Don't bother to do in body focus adjustments; you won't get it right. You need a Sigma USB dock and a dedicated lens focus tool like a Spider Lens Cal.
I love this lens. Very sharp focusing. I am only disappointed with my nikon crop sensor of 1.5 which translates to 36mm. I haven't found anything this lens isn't perfect for. I have included pics.
Firstly, it feels amazing in your hands. Great quality build and has some weight to it. I rented it for the night of the Geminid Meteor Shower and absolutely loved it. I personally am going to buy the 14mm for the wider angle but I would highly recommend this lens.
