If I compiled the camera gear dream list of thousands of professional and serious amateur photographers, I'm sure that the "zoom lens wider than f/2.8" line item would bubble up to near the top of the list. I know that I have long wanted to see such a lens.
“Three ‘primes’ in one lens” – in the case of the tested Sigma such a statement is not just an empty marketing slogan, quite the opposite in fact. When it comes to the resolution the Sigma 24-35 mm is not worse than any brand name fixed focus f/1.8 and f/2.0 device.

noticeable distortion on full frame at 24 mm,, a bit too high coma,, very high vignetting across the whole focal range.
I only gave it 4 rather than 5 stars because of its weight/size. It's not a lens I take everywhere with me, but it has become one of my favorite lenses to use professionally. It's very sharp (anyway, you can use the Sigma dock to improve tack focus) and has very little distortion and no noticeable...
I am disappointed. On the first day of shooting, I noticed that the focus is bad. Made test-pictures on the table and got it. Further adjusting through the apparatus the best result was this. Now I just pray that the dock station has something to fix. Probably this lens is very good, just not mine.
A 24mm f2 prime and a 35mm f2 prime in one lens, is this real? You need this lens, you won't remove it from your body, I swear.I use it on my 5D III for photography and on my sony fs5 for videography and it's fulfill all my needs. It's sharp, great depth of field, and sweet vignetting.
So I don't know how many people are shooting on a GH3/4/5(!), with the Metabones Speedbooster (XL 0.64), but it pairs amazingly with this lens. I could have chosen a wider range zoom at 2.8, or a cheaper wider 4.0 to boost, but I dreamed of a zoom lens as fast as my primes. This is it.
