Good for neutral listening. The SHR 440 deliver a decently balanced sound that caters well to instruments and vocals. The Bass is punchy without being overwhelming, and instruments are not too distant or too forward on most tracks they reproduced.

Sony MDR-ZX700 Review I would like to thank Sony Portugal for lending me this pair of headphones for review. I will write as honest a review as possible.

A great set of cans is essential whether you spend a lot of time in the studio or play drums live to a click-track. A relative newcomer to the professional headphone space, Shure has taken their expertise with in-ear monitoring and microphones and applied it to this essential area of sound...

I’m going to climb out on a limb here and suggest that most people don’t use their headphones to dig trenches or compute the rotational velocity of Jupiter. No, headphones are for sound reproduction.

The Shure SRH440 sounds fantastic with a wide range of musical genres—and the price is right for artists recording in a studio and music lovers alike.

Can be uncomfortable when worn for long periods.

I've had many sets of headphone, from different manufacturers,on the budget to professional level.I have Shure microphones and after reading online reviews for these, decided to purchase.I'm extremely happy with the build, strength of detachable cord and overall sound quality.

I bought these headphones because I wanted a high quality monitor that could isolate the noise and chatter of my surrounding (especially when I'm shooting concerts or wedding receptions). I also wanted to get double for my money as I needed something just as good to monitor my audio while editing.

I was going back and forth about whether I should buy these, or the Sennheiser HD280 headphones. I’ve owned the Sennheiser in the past, so I figured I’d try something new. These are incredibly comfortable, and seem really well made.

One of the best headphones I have tried. It has a great definition, a deep bass without masking the sound.

Received with thanks but have not used them as yet. Best wishes to Gary and team at PMT.

19 September 2021

Great sound, really comfy.

23 August 2021

No issues with sound quality. Comfort is spoiled by the heavy coiled cable on one side, but is still simpler to use than wireless types. Long periods of use cause ears to get hot and sweaty.
