These have really good audio quality, and the multiple options for clipping the lav mic to people are an added bonus, especially if you want to hook them to something that isn't a lapel.
Used Lav microphone, still works fine. Really helped the audio quality on my videos. Did a interview with them, sound is crystal clear. The Shure WL93 Sub Miniature mics look awesome too!
Work fine. Reasonably priced.
I have had no issues. The sound is great. For the price, you just can not go wrong.
Great sound and longevity.
Quality you expect from Shure. The 93 element has a large pickup pattern which is great on a closed set but would be a nightmare is speakers were used in the room.
Provides excellent audio; we use it at meetings of non-profit organizations. The short 4' cable to the pre-amplifier is actually a huge plus, not a negative as some have said. I needed a decent and reliable lav mic for filming interviews. I needed a hardwired setup since, I've had hit or miss instances of wireless systems and my budget is tight. Used it a number of times and very happy with the mic and it's capabilities. Will get 2nd one soon. - Phantom power.
Though I'd prefer a powered mic for my work, the SM93 is a very nice, clean-sounding lav for the price. Very portable, good for interviews.
I have just had it for a little while, but it seems sturdy. The sound quality is good, though the bass roll off is a bit heavy so the low end is not so good. Still there is no hum at typical levels of gains.
