Pound for pound, Shure’s SE112 are some of the best budget buds on the market. If quality audio is of a high concern, we don’t normally recommend you pay less than $100 for a pair of earphones. But if you just don’t have the cheddar, you should probably pick up the SE112.

Clear, open soundstage, Respectable level of detail, Solid construction, Great passive noise isolation, Extremely affordable

-
Upper register occasionally too snappy, No microphone or control piece
With solid audio quality and supersecure ear inserts, the Shure SE112 Sound Isolating Earphones are worthy of the brand's name. However, I'm not a fan of the over-ear construction — it makes the buds time-consuming to put on correctly and uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Good sound quality, Secure ear inserts that block out nearly all noise, Cord doesn't tangle often
-
-
Uncomfortable over-ear fit, Bass could be stronger
If you're looking for sound quality over features, then the $49 you spend on these will be money well spent, provided you don’t have the same issues with comfort that I did

Great sound for the price, Included cleaning tool is a nice touch

You may have issues finding a good fit, Not the most comfortable earbuds we've tried
Loads of performance for a reasonable price
The Shure SE112 offer good sound and excellent build quality for the price. Its sound and lack of features won't blow you away but they're perfect for commuters and people who keep breaking their earphones.

May be uncomfortable for some, No remote or mic
When I am asked by friends and family about what earphones I recommend they buy, the budget they specify is usually sub £50 rather than the sort of...

Not especially attractive, No inline controls, SoundMagic E10 slightly cheaper
Pretty good headphones. I have hearing loss so that if I have to struggle to hear things, then I might as well not even bother listening. These headphones are sufficiently clear so that I can enjoy the music. Not as good as my sennheiser HD1s, but not as expensive either.

Heavy DutyGood sound for the price
-
-
-Headphone jack is thicker than most phones these days so if you have a phone case, these will not fully insert into the jack.-Even without the phone case, the fit into the phone jack is finicky
You know this is one of those headphones that doesn't make you go 'wow' yet you will curse yourself if you forget to take them on your next trans atlantic flight.

- Great Isolation, Good depth and Dynamics

- Ear pads that come with the headphones are not so comfortable to wear
What a bargain! I bought these earbuds for listening to classical music through an iPod Touch, and have been completely happy with the quality of sound which they produce. They avoid overstating the importance of musical instruments which sound on the bass clef, and, in general, produce a rich,...
These headphones sound great!
These are great for recording and monitoring vocal tracks.
Great sound and fit but don't like how the cord gets tangled all the time and I always have to take my phone case off to use them because the plug end is not a straight plug! A little pricey too!

Great sound

Cord tangles too easy no pause or volume control,a little pricey for these issues!
Bought to use on stage with Praise band at my church. Absolutely AWESOME! Crisp, clear sound - don't waste $$$ on cheap imitations like I did....

none
Good sound for the money - just make sure to use the correct insert size for your ear as a solid fit is essential. The wires and connections seem very heavy duty and should last for a while.
