We love this setup. It included all we need to record drums and a drum set. Works great and the rebate made it even better.
Pretty standard drum kit mic set up for both studio & live. I tend to prefer an i5 for snare, but the 57 is OK there as well. I've always liked the thump of the beta 52a on kick - so this made a great way to get the kick and some additional 57's - even if they aren't always going to be used on the...
The sm57 is one of the most versatile mic and the 52 is great on kick drums!
What else can we say about these classic microphones?.would be awesome to shure had included a pair of SM81 in the kit.
I bought the product for drum kit, and that is what I use them for. The microphones are amazing. It is great that they come with holders, and the holders are very comfortable to work with!!!
That is a nice package: getting 3 SM57 and a Beta52 and plus 3 mic clips!! Although, the mic clips are free, they are not so good to use on congas, and that it's frustrative. Even on drum rims they don't fix so well, This is the only negative aspect of the kit.
