Great Prices and Great Experience
"I’ve purchased two TVs through Greentoe, and both experiences have been excellent. Best prices I could find anywhere, and both TVs were delivered right to my door without any issues.
My only mistake was forgetting that Greentoe offers a lot more than just TVs! I recently purchased applioances elsewhere and afterward realized I should have checked Greentoe first.

Product Overview
Innovative thinking led to the world's first Microwave Drawer Oven, an appliance that has helped revolutionize kitchen design and microwave oven placement. Now Sharp introduces the next generation of this successful appliance – larger, sleeker and more accessible than ever. The new KB-6524P series fits in the same space as other Sharp 24-inch models, yet it's larger 1.2 cubic feet interior is tall enough to hold a 20 oz. cup from your favorite take-out coffee store. Plus, there are two convenient ways to open or close the drawer – either pull or push the Easy Open handle or simply touch the Auto-Touch control panel.
With more convenience features, quieter operation and a more integrated design, the KB-6524P series really is the best solution yet for where to place the microwave.

Fire Hazard
I installed this unit in my new home December 2017. Have had to replace door switches and magnetron. Most recently the wave guide caught fire and could have easily burnt down my home. Lucky I was close to the unit and was able to intervene. I came to find out that is is an ongoing issue with sharp and that there is a class action settlement concerning the wave guide arcing. Unfortunately, Sharp has decided to only replace the units with this obvious latent defect within 5 years of purchase. Would definitely steer clear of this manufacturer.

Chintzy Aluminum Handle
Bought this model to replace a similar SHARP microwave drawer. In fact, it is identical except for the cheap-looking matte-finish aluminum handle. The appliance finish is described as stainless, which it is, but no mention of aluminum handle. Maybe a step up from the previous faux-stainless plastic handle but it doesn’t match. Fortunately, the microwave is on the backside of the island, so no one sees it but us.
By the way, however, the previous one started making a melted plastic burn smell after 15 years. The installer told us they have a 7-10 year lifespan. Might have been able to save a lot by replacing the magnetron but chose not to take the chance.

Draw Microwave is a breakthrough
Our new draw microwave is convenient and a space saver in our kitchen. It works wonderfully and the push button drawer is easy to open and close. After years of having a traditional microwave, this is a game changer. Built into our cabinets, it gives us more counter top space while not taking away much of our useful cabinets. Controls are easy to understand and use. We were concerned about it not having a turntable, something we were used to having, but it does not seem to impact any of the items we have cooked so far. This Sharp microwave has been a pleasure to use.

Web Love Our Sharp Microwave
I purchased my 1st Sharp Drawer Microwave in 2019. It was used heavily for 6 years. It survive a lightening strike that took out all of my TVs, dishwasher, garage openers, and most all of my electronics. It was only 2 months ago that I had the first issue, likely from the lightening strike, where I lost the power setting function. I immediately purchased a replacement without giving and thought about another brand. We are totally satisfied with our Sharp.

Excellent drawer microwave
Excellent drawer microwave that stands above the other manufacturers' in both fit and finish. It installs into the counter and is best utilized at about waist level - just under the countertop. Not for everyone but it makes removing hot dishes safer and a lot easier than over the range models. This unit is wheelchair accessible due to the use of a motorized drawer instead of a swing door like the majority of units.
We owned a Sharp in our previous home and decided to buy and install it again in our current one. Reminder: it does require cabinet installation so keep this in mind. Existing drawers or cabinets will need to be removed and/or modified to make room for this unit. This NOT a countertop or over the range microwave.

Great Microwave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this microwave to replace the same Sharp microwave we bought nine years ago because we like all the features this microwave has. It is easy to use and we didn't want to learn how to use a different microwave. In addition, we like the control panel and weren't fond of the control panels that flip out. We like how it compliments our kitchen by
being a drawer that is easy to use. We would recommend this microwave to anyone who can put in a drawer microwave in a kitchen or bar.

Liked it enough to buy it twice
Our first microwave drawer was this same type and when it finally gave out we wanted another just like it. Our local repair service also recommended a Sharp. It is not like the old microwaves that overcook, but it has many options for just about anything you can think of to cook or warm. Really love that it's a drawer and doesn't take up any counter space also. We use the microwave many times daily and find it invaluable.

Be different
This is a replacement of the identical model that we had for 12 years. Not 1 oz of problems in that 12-year period. Finally it just"burned" out. We went right back to the same model, with the same dimensions and this drawer microwave slipped right back in as if it always had been there. Four screws and plug it in! Even after 12 years visitors were commenting on how neat it was to have a drawer microwave!
