The sound quality of the e604 is very good when used in certain situations. I don?t think it?s a very good microphone for some of the smaller toms, but for the larger floor toms it is great, and the snare. I am happy that I spent the money to get three of these.

Great mic. Very sturdy and not afraid of it breaking. It can take a stick hit or two and still be very intact. The sound you get from it is amazing!

I bought these to replace a mismatch set of 57s and some old AT drum mics that I've had since I started running sound... These mics are great! They don't look like it, but they're tough and hold up well to some drummers who like to play the mics...

I've used these for many years on many gigs. Always performs well and is compact.

Bottom Line? Great for live applications and very convenient for quick set ups and a reliable sound. Not so hot in the studio because of its inability to really grab that thick low-end sound you look for in your toms, especially the floors.

These mics are very convenient and clip right onto toms, snare, congas, ect. They have a pretty good response and ton on toms smaller than right around 14'. These are great in live situations, especially for venues that will change drum kits 4 times a night - easy to take down and set up - no mic...

These mics lack low end definition making them not so good for studio application. They also tend to pick up a long of vibration from the rims and have a rather high self-noise. Great live, though!

Purchased these for an in-house system. They sound great and hold up to the sloppiest drummers hits

Great product, I'm floored at how easy it is for me now to set up bands & trio's with their audio needs

I first popped these on my drummers African dun-duns, the provided clips actually worked on them, and made them sound like thunder. Have used them on countless drums since. Solid, punchy, and a great investment in my live audio arsenal.

Sounds great on my toms and snare!!!!!! It's a great mic and very versatile.

Just to add to the conversation with something different-- I absolutely love the sound I get from these mics on hand percussion. I use these guys on bongos, congas, djembe, front of a cajon... Picks up the nuisances of the percussionist very well in live performances without feedback issues.
