I'm using this microphone to record my voice for audio lectures. I'm doing the recording at my desk in my office, which is why I selected a dynamic mic rather than a condenser (to reject ambient noises). The recordings sound great and very clear.
Just got these in and used them at a karaoke show last night. Have always bought the cheap mic's just in case someone decided to swing the mic around and/or drop one on stage. They sounded great. Very crisp and clear. I could tell every time that I missed a note when singing.
The Sennheiser E835 has been my go to Mic for as long as it has been on the market. When you buy a microphone what you are buying, and what should be your main concern is the frequency response.
Very good quality, solid construction and nice sound.
