The Sennheiser RS 175 are good home theater headphones but only average for mixed usage. They're not versatile enough for all environments and situations, and the stand transmitter limits their use outdoors.

This is the best part of the reviewing process. The first thing I did with these was plug the RS 175 into the TV and play my Xbox 360 (which was a snap). There are only three plug-ins on the back of the unit.

The Sennheiser RS 175 is a super-comfortable, great-performing pair of wireless headphones that beats out most competition at its retail price of $279. Better performance certainly can be had for those looking for those headphones that can provide that "replace your speakers" quality experience.

Like many city dwellers, apartment living has forced a lot of compromises when it comes to my setting up a workable home theater system. The limited amount of space and the nearness of neighbours necessitates creative solutions which wireless headphones can easily solve.

The RS 175 headphones can be customized to provide whatever kind of sound a listener is searching for. If my ears start ringing after 10 minutes of listening to any pair of headphones, I’ll avoid them like the Ebola virus.

Very comfortable wireless headphones with great sound and easy set-up. Sound volume adjustment and virtual surround sound modes is conveniently located on ear piece to customize listing choice. Over ear headphones are soft and comfortable to wear with no sound over spill .

The only reason im giving it a low rating is because with the amount of money you spend on this product you expect it to work properly however the right headphones audio is not functioning properly and is definitely lower the left's is and its very off putting.

I just love them, as do while family. Great when you find a quality product like this that has zero flaws and is high quality in all departments. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

  Easy to set up, especially if you view the set up video. Great sound quality, Volume is easy to adjust on the headphones themselves. Separate sound volume for both the headphones and for the TV. Especially nice if viewing TV with another person who enjoys a different volume level.

  The tactile feel for the volume controls on the headphones are a little hard to get used to. Could have been more robust. Sound drops off occasionally.

My husband uses this headset every night. This is his second set. The first set lasted four years and he bought the same set because it works so well. He would highly recommend this to anyone.

TV dialogue in a large room can be hard to fully understand, even for those with good hearing and a full-blown SONOS setup. These headphones solve the problem and even enhance the sound. Being wireless the freedom of movement is a pleasure.

I was skeptical about "tv" headphones, but after buying and using these I would say they are awesome. Very nice to use when the wife is sleeping. Good sound quality, fits very comfortably, holds good charge.
