Sennheiser HD 630VB Closed-Back Circumaural Headphones

Having been out for more than eight months, the Sennheiser HD630VB has been largely overlooked in favor of other Sennheiser models. With that being said, where does this $499 high-end closed-back headphone fit in? And how does it compete against similarly-priced models from other manufacturers?

An interesting experiment in variable bass portable headphones, but they don’t have the wide-ranging appeal of the Momentum series.

  - Well positioned adjustable bass. Even at highest setting not damaging mid presentation. Comfortable. Treble is just about perfect for long listening sessions.

I've love headphones and these make my 17th pair of keepers. Headphones each have their sound signature. The variable base is great on these though still not a headphone for bass heads.
