The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro may be a lightweight on bass, but if you're mixing or recording, it's a solid tool and offers a good value. It's not the most portable, but there's a spot in every studio where you could use it.

  • +

Neutral mids, Fairly revealing headphones, suitable for mixing, Comfortable with/without glasses, No sound leaks, Cheap price

  • -

De-emphasized bass, Can feel hot during long sessions, Not the best looking

The Sennheiser HD 280 Pro are decent for neutral listening. They have a well-balanced sound with a good bass, mid, and treble range. Instruments and vocals sounded sufficiently forward if a little lacking in detail and clarity compared to some other neutral listening models like the DT 770 and the...

    Decent build quality., Moderately comfortable.

  • -

Poor isolation., Mid-range heavy audio reproduction., Bulky, unstable design., Bass delivery varies significantly across users. Sensitive to glasses.

The excellent Sennheiser HD6 Mix headphones reach down to the deepest lows and deliver them, along with the rest of the frequency range, accurately.

  • +

Powerful, accurate frequency response with deep bass and excellent clarity throughout the range., Comes with two removable cables—one coiled, one straight., Extra earpads included.

  • -

    Can feel slightly uncomfortable.

Goodbye outside world. Bested even the Marleys in sound isolation thanks to some seriously aggressive head hugging force. Travel- ready fold-up design. Made in Germany, but with a sound signature from Switzerland.

  • -

Ugg-lay! A certified head crusher—until we finally broke them in. Noticeable lack of detail at the extreme ends of the tonal range. Non- detachable 10-foot cord is a literal drag.

Amidst all the talk about new headphones introduced at 2017 CanJam and CES I’m reminded of my first “real headphone”, the . It was back in 2010 if I remember correctly and at the time it was the most I’d ever spent on a pair of headphones.

At a reasonable rate of £115.00 the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones are the best buy and quite difficult to surpass in terms of quality and sound clarity.

Comfortable. Light-weight. Durable, can last for years if maintained.

    Cord is short.

I own a few headphones but this one right here by far is one of the best headphones I've ever came across specially for mixing I was really surprised of the sound the clarity that I got from the HD 280Pro by sennheiserWas amazing but it doesn't end there it's well built and most of the people I...

The headphones sound very good. I am no audiophile (but I play one on TV) but the headphones sound clear and crisp. My only complaint is that they are very tight on my head, and I have a smaller than average head. I can only wear them for about one record before I need a break.

Use this with my boss katana to play without waking up the whole house. I am no audiophile but I think they sound great and are comfortable. I routinely wear and play for an hour or more a time and haven't had any discomfort. They are easy to adjust.

Interesting buy. Had to configure the headphones and my phone settings when plugged in because the sound would be quiet or loud. I assume it's the same for PC but I never had the chance to try it. Even on my head it felt rather heavy.

Great headphones overall. Very loud and clear, the high and mid range is very good, but I don't think the low range bumps too hard. I am more than satisfied with them and they are proving to do a great job for my home DJing requirements.

I have these to use with my Headrush Pedalboard. These have been fantastic headphones. Noise isolating, very flat response. I can set my rigs up using these and hook my HR to the FRFR 108 or feed FOH and it sounds like it should. That is all I care about. Very sturdy and a long cord.

These headphones replaced a pair of Sennheiser headphones we had for years. Having such good luck with them, thought we'd give Sennheiser another try. We were not disappointed. The quality for the price is outstanding. Would recommend them to anyone who wants good sound for a reasonable price.

I have had these headphones for years and i recently replaced them with the more expensive HD600's so i can make a pretty good comparison and tell you where you would compromise in case you would decide to not shell out the extra cash.

I was amazed at the sound improvement between these headphones and my previous ones. I believe the noise cancellation aspect of these headphones is under promoted as it seems to cancel out most of my household ambient noise. They are sturdy and a bit heavy but the quality of sound is amazing.

I'm very impressed with the HD 280 Pro. It not only offers high quality sound but the overall comfort is great. It gives natural sound to the music allowing the music to be heard the way it was meant to.
