Our customer wanted some new handheld wireless mics to add to their existing ones. This new model worked flawlessly and was a piece of blueberry pie to set up.
I love this unit. Works great for vocals and preaching at out church. Picks up speaker's breath easily. You have to lower gain on a mic one step down form default (to -24 db). But don't lower it to -30 cause it will distorted the sound.
These are 7th, 8th, and 9th stage miss for our church worship team. We love the Sennheiser mics and they are the only ones we use. We picked the freq different from the in-ear monitors to de-conflict the airways. Mics are clear with no hmm, hiss, or feedback with the proper Midas 32 settings.
Bought this mic for church use but I was not so impressed. The clip that hold the mic is way too tight. you have to hold the stand with one hand and pull the mic with the other. Not too easy for some of the elderly to do.
I have purchased 5 of these so far. One is used every week by a very dynamic preacher and the other 4 are used in my road rack with a high energy dance band. I will be purchasing more of these and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good quality wireless mic
I'm the live sound technician for my church (around 400 people), and have used many different handheld/wireless systems over the years. This by far is the best system I've ever used. In July we had a big car show and our Audio Technica handheld system was unreliable.
I'm a 67 year young former radio now mobile dj playing events mainly for older guests. I've owned several wirelss mics and the EW 100G3 is far and away the best sound quality and durability i've ever seen. Easily sorts from hundreds of frequencies if you're in an area with lots of interference.
I bought this microphone as a replacement for my pastor's wireless microphone. Wow!...the clarity is truly amaizing. The clarity remained the same even when the mic was over hundred feet away from the church building. I strongly recommend this product.
Our church's praise team was having trouble avoiding tripping in tangles and loops of microphone cords on the crowded altar. No amount of rerouting or gaff taping would do. We elected to ease into wireless technology but the budget was groaning.
This mic is built solid , is reliable and has all the features I need. I already had six just like it and needed another one.
