I have a Baritone voice. I sing and play acoustic electric guitar. This is my comparison of the Shure SM58 and the Sennheiser e935. I set up both microphones on my Audio Combo + PA System. I set the EQ Flat and gain the same for both microphones.

This replaced an older SM58 for the lead vocalist in our band that had trouble cutting through the mix. The e935 sounded great and the problem was solved
The Sennheiser e935 is a blessing for those of us with muddy voices, my Shure sm58 copy was too dark, the e935 brings out a strong and interesting sounding midrange quality to my voice, I'm not a powerful singer but this mic really helps.
that rating is an understatement.....I have sung professionally on stages all over the country and have never experienced the quality that this mic provides....I can't begin to brag enough on this mic...the sound it produces is beyond amazing.
I have had one of these mic's for years, it's honestly my favorite hand held I own. I have other Sennheiser mic's that are near this quality, but I can honestly hear a noticeable clarity and quality difference over my mic's just one step below this one.
I have been a professional lead vocalist/singer for over 35 years. My go to mic had always been the Shure SM58 until ... I purchased a Sennheiser e835 last year from B &H. The sound quality from the e835 blew the SM58 out of the water... no comparison!!
Bought this as an upgrade from using an SM58 for years, and I absolutely love it. Much cleaner and cuts through a mix really well.
Frequency response is textbook. Nice and flat,I get right on it,excellent SPL, and the clarity is magnificent. This is the last mic I buy, I still have the 57's and 58's, and an Audix, nice mics but this is great.Tight pattern,no feedback. Buy one.
Crystal clear. So much better than the sm58's we've been using.
Good quality mic clean sound
