I used an SM58 forever but wanted to true for a slightly different tone. This is a great mic sound is warm and punchy on vocals.
I was happy with Shure SM58 until I bought this E845, my second microphone for karaoke The vocal seems much clearer with this E845
Sound These mics are the best all round mics money can buy far better than any shure mic build quality is fantastic.
Using for events and weddings interviews. After intensive testing and using on job I can say it is very good quality recording in noise environment. You can record peoples without noise background. Lowe price should not misguide you.
Good vocal microphone with a supercardioid response. To me it’s just another flavour amongst many and Works really well with many voice types. It’s an effective tool for a multitude of tasks.
Really nice solid mic the cardaroid is pretty precise but still with a little feedback which it prescribed less feedback than most
Great mic, superb sound and feels better built than the Shure SM58
Bought a Sennheiser mike. The sales guy was very helpful, setting up a selection of different microphones in the sound booth for me to try!
If lost or stolen, I would replace these 845's with the same model or ANY Sennheiser for that matter!!!!! Sound With the EQ settings on the various mixers being flat and no processors; this mic is very clear, warm, and to me extremely even... Adjusting EQ is minimal to none at all!
Sound More clear, less "warm" than the Shure Beta 58A, which is probably the most direct competitor in this price range (and also probably the most popular vocal mic in this price range). I prefer the Sennheiser, hands-down.
