I've tried all of them from the sm58 and up. This microphone allows you to move away from the mic and have a good pickup distance without kissing the mic. You can sing into the side of the mic if you have to look at your fretboard while playing. Great sound, no mud and it complements your voice.
The Sennheiser e935 is a blessing for those of us with muddy voices, my Shure sm58 copy was too dark, the e935 brings out a strong and interesting sounding midrange quality to my voice, I'm not a powerful singer but this mic really helps.
This replaced an older SM58 for the lead vocalist in our band that had trouble cutting through the mix. The e935 sounded great and the problem was solved
that rating is an understatement.....I have sung professionally on stages all over the country and have never experienced the quality that this mic provides....I can't begin to brag enough on this mic...the sound it produces is beyond amazing.
Like most of the reviewers I have had most mics available, these are really nice and clean with a nice full presence. I use 5 vocal mics for our bluegrass band and sometimes do sound for other bands, when not using condensers these are my favorite dynamic mic, actually I am now using the condensers...
Frequency response is textbook. Nice and flat,I get right on it,excellent SPL, and the clarity is magnificent. This is the last mic I buy, I still have the 57's and 58's, and an Audix, nice mics but this is great.Tight pattern,no feedback. Buy one.
Great mic! My vocals project clearly and powerfully with less effort on my part, so I can relax and sing the emotions of the song. Love this mic! Through my SM58 into my 'spare equipment' box.
i use the sennheiser e935 for vocal communication and song demos . the clarity and high gain without feedback are amazing . this mic is better for vocals if you need to leave your monitors on in the same room . at the price i paid it cannot be beat .
Bought this as an upgrade from using an SM58 for years, and I absolutely love it. Much cleaner and cuts through a mix really well.
I am using SM58 for the last one year and I always getting complains from vocalist that they had to put them self a little harder to get more gain. When I introduce e935 to my live sound and boy I can feel the difference. It has so rich and gain compare to 58's with no humming at all.
