I've become more serious about my photography lately. My two typical weaknesses have been focus and my ability to meter shots confidently while using the internal light meter and bracketing.Auto focusing has been a savior for me.
This device resembles classic light meters from 1970th. Can be used intuitively, really portable, accurate and comfortable! Allow to obtain normally exposed negatives, and is essential companion to (as in mu case) rangefinder or TLR camera. Recommended enthusiastically with 5 or even 6 points!
I use this with a Rolleicord which of course lacks its own light meter. I use it to get reflected light measurements, and it's always worked great. As a bonus, it's small -- even in its little velvet bag it fits nicely in a pocket.
Tried it out this week doing large format work. Light weight, easy to learn how to use, and performs basic functions. Exposure readings were all accurate.Highly recommended as a basic lightmeter!
I haven't had a separate light meter for probably 40 years. I'm very pleased with this little jewel. It seems to work great and get a good reading in very low light conditions, as well as the other places where I would like a direct reading.
I shoot film mostly and not all my cameras have a built-in lightmeter, I also own a Sekonic L-558R and Sekonic L-438, they are both precise but they are big and heavy, especially when you use some small cameras with them.
Compact, light weight, legible markings, easy to use, and as far as I can tell accurate. Exactly what I wanted!
nice little meter it does the job for my black and whites, buy it.
Quite useful, faithful, very small lightmeter and with quite accurate measurements. I use it a lot to work outdoors and the readings have been quite good.
Ok, I have not used the meter yet, so I cannot comment on its accuracy. I bought it based on good reviews to this effect. I have to say, however, that the construction was very disappointing. It is so cheaply made, that it really does look like something that should come out of gum ball machine!!
