Seagate 10TB Backup Plus USB 3.0 External Hard Drive with USB Hub

It's clunky. Literally. Every ten seconds or so, it makes a clunking noise which is most irritating. I've got several other Seagate external drives of various sizes and none of them make this sound. And this new drive already has literally thousands of "G-sense" errors which is ridiculous.

This has to be the best hdd I’ve every owed (and I’ve owned way too many). I’m a Tb away from filling up the “10”TBs...the usb hub function is fantastic and really frees up some spaces and makes transferring to a thumb drive a lot easier and faster than going through the computer or a separate hub.

I have many drives lying about, as I am a professional photographer—1 TB. 2 TB and even 5 TB. But this 10 TB has enough room to archive everything in one place and assure redundancy in case of a crash or other damage. It’s a good vault for video, too, where the files can get very large.

I have 5 external hard drives and while I do have a 10 port USB 3.0 hub, it was a nice surprise when I received this new drive when I saw the 2 USB ports on the front of it. Where it is positioned on my desk it makes plugging in USB cables so much easier and convenient.

This is a really nice 10TB USB3 external drive that also has 2 USB3 pass thru ports on it. It was in the clearance section and I got it for about 1/2 the going price of a unit of this capacity.

Im really happy with this purchase. I needed to upgrade my storage and decided to make a very significant leap to 10tb. It was affordable and works great. The write speeds are decent enough for my needs but it is a bit loud. Everything else is great

I needed a good backup device to use for my Macbook Pro. The Seagate Backup Plus Hub 10TB is pre-loaded with there own proprietary backup software. I decided to reformat the HD to be able to use it as a partitioned HD for my purposes.

Love this drive, hell of a punch in a average sized storage device. Would definately buy this again and recommend to anyone that wanted to purchase.

Works Great!But when we first got it, it worked on one of our iMacs, but not the other. Some problem with the partition. We erased the disk using Disk Utility, and then it came right up on the desktop, read to use.
