The Schecter Guitar Research Damien Elite-7 Electric Guitar is fully equipped. It comes with an mahogany body with a quilted maple top and bolt-on maple neck. The fretboard is smooth rosewood with 24 extra-jumbo frets and a compound radius for maximum comfort. The EMG 81-7X/707 pickups produce plenty of tone control and power. Black chrome hardware completes the list of appointments.Grover TunersROTOMATICS with 18:1 GEAR RATIO (102-18 SERIES) The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.Rosewood FretboardThe most common fretboard, Rosewood is naturally oily, and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The sound is richer in fundamental than Maple because the stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pores.EMG 81-7X/707 PickupsThe X series provide increased headroom giving the voicing an organic and open tone while still maintaining the clarity and response that EMG's are renowned for. X's are best described as bridging the gap between passive and active tone. 707- Featuring Alnico V loaded wide aperture coils to beef up that Low B tone and at the same time provide a more responsive super tight overall sound.Maple NeckMaple has a uniform grain, it's strong and stable, and it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. Its tone is highly reflective, and focuses more energy onto the body wood. Maple transfers a bright tone to the body which complements the warm tones of a mahogany body.
