I use this lens with my Canon EOS Rebel T6i.It's a very nice lens, not bulky, great size, strong construction and easy to attach.Comes with a lens hood, lens cover, lens bag and manual.
Better than I expected. Manual focus is not a problem since the depth of field is almost 0 to infinity. Set it once and forget it for the most part. Very good build quality, smooth mounting and removing, smooth focus ring and aperture ring.
A Fishyeye lens is a novelty item. Having acquired most lenses that I have wanted, I gave consideration to the novelty use of a Fisheye . After reading the reviews of the low price lenses available, I decided to take a chance on the Samyang 8mmf/3.5.
Be aware that this lens is the most basic: it has no auto focus, and doesn't provide info to teh camera, so you have to add focal, lens data, etc...Good pictures though!
Takes great, sharp photos on a 1.6x crop sensor. If you use it on a 1.3x crop sensor you'll end up with a circular (or partially circular) image. Very happy with the lens for the price.
Very special landscape and architecture images. The lens I received works best with apertures in 8 - 11 range.Sharpness appears to be a little less than kit 18-55 mm at 18 mm.
I purchased this lens prior to my trip to the Grand Canyon because I wanted to be able to capture as much of the canyon as possible in one shot and this lens definitely did the job. I'm not a camera pro, but I was able to learn how to use this lens in manual mode pretty quickly.
This is a steal for 200$ it doesn't have the blurry edges, and is easy to operate If you know what you're doing on your camera. If there's anything past 4 feet you just go to the infinity sign. Just wish they could create one lens that does everything
Low price for a amazing picture, works perfectly on my Nikon D300 (if you put the aperture in the max value) , it's a entry level product but I m not a proffessionnal !
everything good!! i luv it
