Overall it is very difficult to characterise this lens. It is certainly a specialist optic on account of being manual-only, but it also looks and feels great. It’s a bit heavy but you are getting an ultra-bright f/1.4 maximum aperture and well-corrected optical performance.
Bright aperture, build quality
Weak performance at wide aperture

Thought that this lens would provide that extra measure of tack sharpness expected from a prime lens over a zoom. Some of the reviews rave about the sharpness and thought I was making a good choice.
Bells and whistles aside this is a solid lens. feels good in the hands, focus ring is like butter. really glad i bought it.
Nice Bokeh, Rugged
