The bokeh that this Rokinon produces is outstanding. This is a wonderful lens with surprisingly good quality, considering the price. Feels like a fine Swiss watch. Only negative is that it is slightly on the heavy side.
Build: Lens feels plasticky. Doesn't feel well built and the front element was quite dusty upon arrival as compared to my Rokinon 85. The plastic filter thread is fragile, do not screw on your filter too tight! Manual focus is smooth, while the focus ring felt flimsy during manual focus.
Great cine lens for video production at a fraction of costs compared to Zeiss lens. I love the manual iris and smoth focus operation on my sony fs7 camera. It's on the heavier side but solid build. For the costs I highly recommend. I use it for commercial and music videos.
Shoot all my projects with this lens. Plus t1.5 great in low light
I love this lens. The de-clicked aperture gives me incredible creative freedom, and allows me to change things quickly and smoothly in video. This lens is a game changer for sure.
Quite possibly my favorite lens. I am even preferring it over my L series lenses.
I've been using old Nikon Nikkor lenses via my Metebones Spedbooster on my GH4 for a couple of years. The step up to this lens was very noticeable in clarity and sharpness. Images and video look great. Feels well made, smooth operation.
Super sharp! - I'm a portrait photographer practicing for 2 years
Incredible looking lens for video work.We use this with BM Studio Camera and it works fantastic even in low light.Great for interviews and nice tight shots.
Stunning prime lens. Full manual. Cinelook out of the box.
