Samsung has been tearing up the pavement lately when it comes to gaming monitors. The 49″ Odyssey OLED G95SC released earlier this year was already impressive as it stood. But Samsung was not happy with this, so they came along to announce the 57″ Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 G95NC, the world’s first dual...

The G9 design remains one of the nicest looking monitor designs on the market, RGB ring and front LED accents add flair and are customizable, Mini LED display is near OLED in quality with better peak brightness, 240Hz refresh rate is perfect for gamers, provioded they have the hardware to run that...

Due to limited GPU compatability, 240Hz may not work. But this is not the monitor's fault, Only one Display Port 2.1, it would have been nice to have two of these, I would have preferred a pedestal stand instead of the Y stand, but that's minor, While we consider the price to be fair, some may find...

The Samsung G95NC is fantastic for gaming. It has an incredibly high 240Hz refresh rate, but because it has such a high 7680x2160 resolution, you need a high-end graphics card that supports DisplayPort 2.1 or HDMI 2.1 bandwidth to make full use of the monitor.

Very expensive, Gets noticeably hot during use, Takes up a serious amount of space
Coming from OLED, this monitor gets really bright and the pixel density is great! Firmware is bit buggy and keeps giving black screen when waking from sleep. Only way to get screen back is to turn off and on again. Hopefully Samsung fixes this annoying bug.
AMAZING!I had the previous G9 and I have to say this monitor is worth every penny. I was worried it wasn't going to be that great and it is everything I could ever ask for. The HDR still sucks like on the G9, it is very flat still and not bright, but in regular mode picture is astounding.
I needed a new monitor for gaming and work, aiming to replace my dual 27" setup. Despite initial concerns from reviews about adjusting to Ultra Wide monitors, the clean look won me over. Once everything was set up and the monitor mounted, it exceeded my expectations.
The tech is definitely unmatched. In some way, ahead of current GPU. To reach what the monitor can actually do, 240Hz, you have very limited option (and it is not the 4090).Other than that, your monitor arm option is also limited (actually ZERO. Unless you decide to MacGyver something together.
When it comes to streaming from 2 sources (e.g. office laptop and gaming pc) this is amazing. Being able to switch easily and use the screenscape as needed makes it super useful
I bouvght this monitor a couple of months ago to replace two smaller Samsung monitors, and this is a big improvement in terms of quality and ease of use. The picture quality is excellent and it is much easier on the eyes than two monitors side-by-side, which leads to different parts of the picture...
I use my Odyssey Neo 57 to run 2 browsers side by side, or excel. I have been gaming on it also. I have an Rtx3090 to drive the pixels. This monitor replaced my 49" Odyssey which I put on an arm mount to use side by side or vertical. The greatest part is the pleasure to use the best monitor ever.
I use this for gaming and media consumption. Honestly I feel an OLED would be better, but this is still a great monitor. No remote though, definitely a little annoying. It is obviously really big, and you will struggle to move it on your own.
I love how huge the screen is almost wrapped around you. It's nice when playing games how real everything looks and seeing from the side of your eyes the picture quality is Gratifying. Price is just right
I used this monitor mostly for engineering purposes, at the beginning I was a bit afraid of the big scale, but I got used to it very quickly, indeed now I only want to work un this new monitor, it is a delightful experience.
