Unless you care for the latest HDMI standards, the Q990D doesn’t offer a huge upgrade over last year’s model. Their design and features lists are nearly identical, except for two new sound modes and 4K/120 passthrough. And some of those additions are available on more-affordable Samsung soundbars.

The HW-Q990D might not look very different to its highly acclaimed predecessor, but its sound is on a different level – with music as well as movies. Which pretty much by default makes it the best full surround soundbar in town.

I purchased this soundbar to go along with the new 2024 OLED TV and it is absolutely amazing. I am very happy that I chose this as opposed to a Sonos set, which is what I have always owned since 2017. It was the best decision.

No receiver can match the channels provided with the Q Series 11.1.4 ch Wireless Dolby ATMOS Sound bar + Rear Speaker (2024)! The sound quality is immaculate with Hi-Res Lossless audio. The synergy better Samsung's TV's and Soundbar's reach a cinematic experience words cannot describe.

The sound effect comes from the sound bar plus the rear speakers make the experience while watching movies or even listening to music amazing. The elegant design blend and with furniture so well by itself it's piece of art. My next step is to buy the frame and the music frame.

Super rich and clear sound came from this awesome soundbar across the entire entertainment room. Easy to install, and to set up/pair, which allow me enough time to customize its settings to get the best sound and my system.

I had a bose, then I bought a klipsch cinema 800 which was a huge mistake. So I dove into samsung an I must say I am incredibly impressed with this sound bar. I can actually hear what people are saying in movies, the quality of the sound is absolutely amazing.

Outstanding quality, sometimes I am fooled by sounds occurring in movies originating in my living room! Even my dogs get concerned by the speakers realism in quality. This is a must have for real Dolby Atmos movie enthusiasts.

I don't have any real experience in sound bars before this but I can say that the sound is wonderful. It may take me a while to get everything balanced from my seating position but there is a clarity in the sound and you can really crank it up if you want with no distortion.

You just gotta do some research and position all the parts where they sound the better bc the rest is just seat and relax

This is an amazing soundbar that blows other sound bars out of the water! I love the addition of the hdmi 2.1 port which is great for gaming! 5 out of 5 stars
