The Samsung Q80T is a dream for next-gen gaming, and handles movies and TVs with style thanks to its bright screen and best-in-class upscaling.
Beautiful colours, Strong brightness and contrast, Incredible gaming chops, Fantastic upscaling
No Freeview Play, No Dolby Vision, Some blooming from backlight
Expensive? Obviously. Worth it? Definitely.
Punchy, colourful, high-contrast pictures, Accomplished upscaler, Super-fast with games, Great OS
No Dolby Vision, No Freeview Play
The Q80T is an ambitious flatscreen offering punchy HDR, gorgeous colour and a surprisingly good black level performance. It’s a great choice for daylight viewing, but also makes for a lively home theatre experience
FALD backlight, Impactful OTS audio, Lightning fast gaming performance
No Dolby Vision support, No Freeview Play
This TV is performing perfectly so far. The clarity and color are excellent. I had no problems with the setup and mounting of the unit. All the connections are on the TV not in a separate box.
Ease of setupQuality picture
The picture quality is amazing. However, I have problems with the remote connecting to the TV every day.
Samsung has continued to lead the way for large screen tvs. The 65 inch is a nice tv and large enough for most large living rooms. You can talk to the tv using Bixby to change channels etc. I do miss the number keys on the remote. Old school I guess.
Super happy with this tv, i haven't had time to figure all the features out yet but the picture and sound are great
I'm not a tech guru, but I like this TV except for the remote. I use a Logitek remote anyway.
I've spent the last 18mths looking at when to replace my old Panasonic VT50 (which at the time was a really expensive TV). I came across a really good deal and after looking at reviews of the Q80T, took the plunge.
Easy to use. Brilliant picture and sound.Attractive appearance. Is my 2nd Samsung tv. Previous model was trouble free for the 10 years of its operation .
I'll start with the CONS: 1. Apps - you cannot delete britbox, UKTV play, samsung health, smartThings, and a couple of others. You can stop them from displaying on your home dock, however, there are recommendations that show up under your dock which come from these apps which is obscenely...
Awesome picture. Delivery went great. Wish it had Dolbyvision support.
Well it's a lot better and bigger than my old LED TV. The remote is simple and easy to use and set up was quite simple. The smart connect box makes it tidy with regards to cables and it recognized my home theater system and paired with it with out any trouble.
