Samsung 30" Stainless Steel Gas Sealed Burner Range - Convection

This is a great range and is very beautiful but I had issues with getting an “Open Door” alert while baking above 350. It happened out of the blue and I thought it may have been a software glitch. I contacted Samsung about the issues and they “Immediately “ ent someone out to check the unit out.

First off- I cook a lot. I'm not a chef, we just eat at home. I have had this range for 6 months and I have discovered several things:* The round burners are very hot and I can't get the simmer burner low enough to keep food from sticking- regardless of the type of pan.

I bought this stove about 2 years ago. It looks sharp but the oven is awful. It doesn't heat up. It bakes unevenly. It's nice if you don't mind waiting an hour for it to preheat or have to turn it on and off several times to get it to heat up. The temperature is also off. Significantly.

As a professional cook I've always wanted high-end, industrial equipment in my kitchen, but I didn't want to remodel. This beautiful range feels like I have a mini professional kitchen. All the clever features have far exceeded my expectations!

I love the double oven feature which allows me to bake 2 different things at the same time, having a griddle on top is a bonus.Only con for me is I can’t find a child proof for the knobs although you can lock the touch screen.

I wanted to love this oven. It's only a few years old and I'm already having issues with it. The door gets stuck closed and I have to either jerk it to the left to get it to open, or open the top half of the door and manually unlock the bottom half.

Typical SamSUCK product! After a year, the coating is chipping on the top of the stove and the seal- between the top of oven and oven door keeps coming out. Now, after 5 yrs, it runs fine but husband is replacing the strip.

stove is just over 1 year old. the black stainless finish starting wearing off after 6 months. we only use microfiber cloths to wipe it down. work order requested, $300 hold on my card. ridiculous. 2 days before work was to be completed to fix this issue, oven stopped heating up.

i'm so disappointed with the fact that our oven door started peeling. this isn't covered under warranty but it should be. i spent money to purchase the new door - and am hoping that this door does not peel. we shall see.

After a year, the screen fried, making the oven unusable. Samsung couldn’t fix it. Huge disappointment. Won’t ever buy Samsung again.
