Samsung MU6300-Series 55"-Class HDR UHD Smart LED TV

As a budget starter 4K TV with limited HDR functionality but a generally good, reliable level of picture performance, we strongly recommend the MU6300 for first-time buyers. However, this particular 4K HDR TV is similar enough to the 2016 KU6300 that you could also go for the slightly older model...

We've been watching our new TV for a couple of weeks now and are very pleased. The TV that was replaced by this one was a 43" plasma, and we also have an older 65" non-flatscreen. The picture on this Samsung looks...different.

Easy to mount on the wall, controls take a bit to get used to but work great. This TV has an awesome picture and works flawlessly with wifi and Apple TV which is important to us since we only run wifi connected apps....

Nice TV! Replaced Samsung plasma that was nine years old. Really surprised st the difference in weight...probably 1/2 as heavy. Bigger and much better picture.

While this TV plays Netflix and 4K Blu-Rays without issue its main flaw is immediately noticeable when playing 4K video games. The PS4 Pro has handshake issues regarding if it should be outputting in full RGB or YUV420, and then it freaks out when HDCP is involved.
