Samsung's KU6300 series of 4K TVs feature HDR compatibility, but the panel lacks the contrast and color range to really take advantage of it.
-
+
Bright panel. Supports HDR.
-
-
Mediocre contrast and color range don't take advantage of HDR. Expensive for the performance.

Despite some issues in its overall quality compared to similarly priced rival TVs on the market and a lack of full HDR specs, the KU6300 is one robust and offers great display specs for the most part. It’s also reasonably priced and looks great physically.

+
Tizen smart OS is superb, Great brightness in display, Excellent upscaling, Solid contrast, Lovely design, Reasonable price range
-
-
Lacks full HDR, smart remote functionality glitches, Few USB, HDMI ports, Peak brightness could improve, 60Hz native refresh

The KU6300 4K LED TV from Samsung is best priced 4K offerings from Samsung but still has ample some good features like Smart TV offerings, UHD Picture Dimming, a quad core processor, HEVC 4K streaming decoding, and a contrast enhancer.

Great TV. It's nice having the bluetooth so I can use my headphones and not be tethered. The remote is stylish and has some nice features but if a channel has more than 3 numbers, I have to use my other remote. I can live with that.

Great sound and picture. Love the bluetooth.

The remote.
Overall, this is a great budget 4K TV and gaming monitor. This is the third model I've tried. And it's the only one that's been good enough in this price range to replace my three monitor surround setup. For gaming I've tried 1080, 4K, 3840 x 1440 (35" 24:9), and 3840 x 1646 (38" 21:9).

- Colors and Blacks are very good . - Sound is way better than expected. - Supports Chroma 4:4:4 and RGB Full dynamic range color formats. - Upscaling works great. - Supports custom resolutions at 60 Hz with RGB Full and Chroma 4:4:4. - No noticeable delay or lag when gaming.

- Colors out of box are good, but not perfect. Plenty of options for adjusting though. - Panel feels fragile to the touch. TV overall is solid. The screen just feels like it needs a piece of glass over it.
After not even two years the screen is flickering which is why the poor ratings except for features....other than that never ever buying another Samsung product.
My wife and I got this TV and were blown away by its image and audio capabilities. I am a huge fan of its auto video adjustments to how the lighting is in my condo. Also am a big fan of the TV remote able to work with my Xbox One.
I guess I have to review it in two parts. While I love the television and it's more than I ever would have expected for the price, I'm a little miffed that it's $100 cheaper than I got it as of today.

This TV is great... its the perfect size, it could actually be a bit bigger for the mantle I suppose, but I'm not a guy and don't require the biggest most obnoxious TV there is... Anyway, its not too heavy so I got it up there by myself it is working great and I think its fabulous!
I have a love-hate feeling for this TV.Sometimes there is motion-blur;sometimes this is not.Sometimes the image is razor-sharp;sometimes it seems a little washed out. The "smart" part of the tv I haven't really tested. As a web browser,it seemed to work well on most sites I visited.Probably,for...
It's a good TV. Nice color. I would for sure but this item again IF I needed a 65" TV. Hubby liked the size of it and the color. It was easy to hang on the wall, which made it a nice weekend instead of a chore.
