Samsung JS8500 Series 48"-Class 4K SUHD Smart 3D LED TV

The Samsung UNJS8500 SUHD TV has a very good picture for an edge-lit LED LCD, but not good enough to justify the price.

  The UNJS8500 is Samsung's highest-end 2015 TV with a flat rather than curved screen. It delivers very good picture quality, with relatively deep black levels, accurate color and solid video processing.

  Despite the nanocrystal-powered color and HDR compatibility inherent in Samsung's SUHD name, the JS8500 doesn't offer appreciably better image quality than many less expensive TVs.

This TV is great. It offers good colors, good blacks and contrast and it's very bright. The operating system can get a bit slow at times but it's still very good and usable. For 2015 LED tvs this is one of the best sets. If you can afford it get a 4K OLED LG TV.

The picture quality is flawless and design is beautiful. only complaint is when put into game mode i get random red lines that pop up when playing video games and it can be annoying and i know its a defect or problem in the software because it only happens in game mode.

My brother bought this TV during last thanksgiving. It has great quality picture and provide better browsing results compare to my Sony Bravia. It is obvious that my Sony has 1080 HD quality while Samsung has 4K HD makes difference, however, it doesn't makes much difference if you are watch in cable...

Great TV did a LOT of research before buying. Not dissatisfied a bit! This thing performs very well at high resolutions with no stutter in the picture (I did have to tweak the inputs a bit for my desired results as I view most of my media through my XBOX one (Video game setting) but for watching...

this TV is outstanding in picture quality if you have the correct viewing sources. i have a Samsung (TH01) panel and have had no problems with light bleed at the corners.PQ is sharp and no lag in viewing fast action scenes. 4K video from youtube is outstanding. Xbox gaming is great.

Excellent quality as expected and lots of features , I am very pleased with this TV .

Like most people who are into technology and AV equipment, I typically want the best I can afford. Honestly I could have spent 3K on OLED TV but for me that is not ever going to happen. I needed this for a small-medium room where you sit like 7-8 feet from the television.

Nice design, good picture quality. WILL NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET. Spent hours and hours with Samsung support and then their maintenance support. After waiting days for a technician to schedule a time to physically visit my home to troubleshoot, I discovered my ticket had been cancelled.

Components (RGB) input is buggy on my unit. I tested with two sources (720p and 1080p) and in both cases the TV is periodically freezing and stuttering. Samsung tech support, while very friendly, was not helpful.
