Samsung J5200 48"-Class Full HD Smart LED TV

I would NOT recommend this TV to anyone. This is a '5' series tv (5200 in product number). You would be better off getting a '6' series TV, which is quicker with more apps.

  Color and picture clarity are good. OK as a large monitor.

  Very underpowered processor. Response time to any and all remote control buttons is very slow (2-3 seconds). It takes at least 30 seconds after power up to be able to access the 'smart' apps (Netflix, Hulu, ect.). Very limited selection of 'smart' apps.

My wife and I had a 42' Samsung and just upgraded to a larger 48' inch Samsung when we got a bigger place. It's amazing. Picture is great, we have it set up to a sound bar, the blue tooth wifi works great for Netflix, HBO Go, etc. I would buy another one of these in a minute.

Picture quality is amazing! TV is extremely light compared to past models I've owned. Set up is super easy. Sound quality is so-so. Usually during movies I have to have the volume set at 50 or more but when watching cable it's at 20, so if I forget to turn it down before switching between the two...

Been using for 7 months, had numerous tech support issues withe Samsung. Samsung sent out a tech who replaced the CPU board, but did not correct any of the issues. Samsung recommended to use the "Favorite channels" list as a work around.

  Nice video quality on ATSC tuner (many 1080 & 720 res stations). Good Features. Netflix app works great.

  Distorted Sound (no surprise). Randomly tunes in AND out ATSC channels, even after firmware update. Did not work with HDMI interfaced Samsung Soundbar HW-HM45C (tried two different sound bars). Immensely under powered, cant change channels for 6-7 seconds after power up.

It was bigger than my last tv, but was more tv & less of a frame around it so it looks smaller on my entertainment stand. I've since gotten used to it. It also had a shorter stand than my last one so again it doesn't fill the space as well. It works great though with a beautiful picture!

TV is great but the 'Smart" is absolutely useless!! Slowest connection ever! Great tv but keep in mind you will ned to buy a 3rd party device to stream netflix and etc. I was thinking of 3 stars but the picture quality of the TV is outstanding and the price was good enough to keep it at 4 stars.

Great tv! Good picture and good sound. Yes the stand is plastic but it is strong. Dimensions are wrong on the size. There is a power button on the bottom sticks out half and inch which in my case was a pain because I use an old TV stand that I re did for a flat screen and needed exact measurments.
