Samsung HW-Q600B 3.1.2-Channel Soundbar System (2022)

The Samsung Q600B is good for mixed usage. Though it's advertised as a 3.1.2 bar, in our tests, audio didn't play from the up-firing or "Acoustic Beam" channels, so it performs more like a 3.1 setup.

I bought the sound bar in November 2022 when I purchased a new 55" OLED Samsung TV. The two units paired easily enough. TV is great but I would have liked to have seen the sound bar be a little more immersive. The sound is flat, and the subwoofer is very low.

Terrific complement to our Samsung QN55S95B TV. Our family room does not accommodate satellite speakers or even the subwoofer on the floor - so we had to "settle" for this modest Samsung soundbar - with small subwoofer that can go on a shelf. But the sound is wonderful, given these limitations.

  Unexpectedly good sound - especially for movies

  Hard to figure out how the remote is affecting the sound, given there's no "on-screen" display of setting changes (even though we have a compatible Samsung TV). Also - the soundbar remote looks identical to the TV's remote - so several times we've frustratingly been unable to get the remote to do...

I just purchased this item, has stuff you wouldn’t expect! Like an Equalizer by holding down the settings button! The middle channel is very clear, and the subwoofer sounds pretty good too! The top channels sound amazing! This is all an honest opinion from a person that loves good sound!

Wattage doesn't accurately represent the sound volume... not loud enough not enough bass for 18x18ft room

After my usual due diligence of checking all the major brands, I purchased the Q600B Soundbar to ensure the best compatibility with my Samsung TV. I haven’t been disappointed! The soundbar was easy to set up using the supplied guide and I was watching and listening in less than ten minutes.

I ended up getting two of these, one for myself and one for my parents. It made a huge difference for their movie watching. Dialog is once again clear. Setup was a bit tricky for them with instructions lacking in detail. YouTube was their friend.

I mainly used this soundbar with my TV for streaming movies and youtube.It works well and I have no issues with it from the start. My one concern is that the 2 up firing speakers does not seem to work as intended. It barely make any sounds.Maybe this can be corrected with a firmware update.

For the size and ease of use, great. Small remote gets some getting use to.

This is a great soundbar/woofer combo. Crystal clear audio and well balanced high's, mids and lows. This is absolutely worth the money!
