The Samsung Galaxy Watch follows the tradition of the Galaxy Gear S smartwatch line with a new brand and a new outlook on life. The Galaxy Watch uses the newest version of Tizen to deliver a wrist-bound smart wearable device experience that’s both powerful and feels natural.
-
+
Comfortable fit with standard strap, Buttons and dial are easy (and fun) to use, Classic yet current look and feel, Automatic activity tracking is simple and helpful, Tizen is smooth and ready for prime-time
-
-
Doesn't come in all-black, Needs 4 apps to connect to non-Samsung Android, Limited functionality with iPhone, No MST for Samsung Pay (uses NFC instead)
“The Galaxy Watch 3 is the smartwatch to buy if you own an Android phone.”
-
+
Stylish, traditional watch looks, Attractive, reliable software, Brilliant rotating bezel aces the control system, Comprehensive health-tracking features, Solid battery life
-
-
Questionable fitness-tracking accuracy, Slow battery charging
With four days of battery life, an attractive design, great fitness features — and did we mention the battery life? — the Samsung Galaxy Watch is a step forward for smartwatches.
-
+
Stylish design, Long battery life, Good fitness features, Built-in music storage
-
-
Few apps for Tizen, Bixby far less capable than Google Assistant
Whether you pick up the big or small Samsung Galaxy Watch, you're getting a smartwatch that makes a much more compelling argument for Android phone owners than a Wear watch does right now, even if it may not necessarily see iPhone users ditch their Apple Watch just yet.
-
+
Solid fitness and sports tracking features, Slick Tizen OS, 2 day+ battery life
With the Galaxy Watch, Samsung is probably presenting the best smartwatch for an Android smartphone. And it doesn't run on Android at all. The battery life is very good, Tizen OS is even better adapted to the round design and some new features have been added.
-
+
Great battery life, Fast operating system, Numerous functions, Good workmanship
-
-
Limitations without a Samsung smartphone
“Stellar battery life and strong fitness-tracking capabilities make this the perfect smartwatch for Android users.”
-
+
Stellar battery life, Easy to check and interact with notifications, Rotating bezel navigation, Accurate fitness-tracking measurements, Attractive design, sharp display
-
-
Still a little large, Samsung Health app is cluttered, lacks coaching, No MST for Samsung Pay
Until we get a chance to test out the next generation of Wear OS watches, Samsung’s Galaxy Watch remains our favorite for Android users. However, for iPhone users, the Apple Watch remains the obvious choice, given that device's tight integration with the iPhone.
Samsung's pricey flagship is an attractive, full-featured smartwatch but it doesn’t improve on its predecessor as much as we'd like
-
+
Attractive new design, Offline Spotify support, Large display
-
-
Expensive, Disappointing battery life, Not much is new
The Galaxy Watch is Samsung's most refined smartwatch due to its helpful fitness tracking and four-day battery life – if you opt for the larger 46mm size that we liked and recommend.
-
+
Impressive four-day battery life, Great core smartwatch software, Rotating bezel cycles through UI
-
-
Proprietary wireless charger, Bixby proven to be terrible again, No Google Maps, WhatsApp, FB Messenger
A gorgeous blend of form and function, this is one of the top smartwatches to beat
-
+
Gorgeous design, Crisp, vibrant display, Fun, innovative bezel controls, Clever fitness-tracking features

Battery life could be better, Expensive
I preordered the galaxy watch and it came when it said it would. The galaxy watch has blown me away. Bluetooth connectivity works great. The watch counts my steps perfectly so disregard other comments. Samsung health is integrated into the watch seamlessly.

Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, Durable
I purchased this watch about a month ago. I am not a fitness freak but got it because during work my phone blows up with emails, texts, and calls it is so much easier to be able to look at my watch and see if it needs immediate attention or can wait until I am finished with what I am dealing with.
I was an Iphone to Samsung switch. The watch has been amazingly helpful. I work on a production line, so checking your phone is not allowed. Using the watch helps check my messages while still being able to work. Thankfully, I bought a set of screen protectors for it. Broke two of them so far.
Watch works great and looks good. Only issue ive had and has now happened twice. My sensor cover on the back comes lose and eventually comes off with the glue smeared on my arm. I wonder if anyone else has this issue. I've never submerged my watches in water nor have they every gotten soaking wet.
It works great for what it is. Can't be too far from your cell phone as it's bluetooth. I gave 4 stars because it should be less expensive than the LTE version. I would only reccomend if you are ok having your phone with you.
I've held off getting a smartwatch for so long while I waited for the "perfect" product. After using it for only 2 weeks, I have to say I love my Galaxy Watch! It's stylish and has a lot of good features. So far I'm using it for fitness, and notifications.
Coming from Garmin smart watch... SamSung watch does not display satellite map. One must export data then view it in google. Meanwhile, with a 4 years old garmin watch, I already have access to satellite view long time ago. Come on Samsung, please add this feature in your app.

Excellent watch, longest battery life by far. I went with this larger model because I wanted the extra battery life and it's worth it. Only downsides are the lack of MST for Samsung Pay and Bixby voice (mis)recognition.
