Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2's ECG and LTE bring it closer to the Apple Watch
Comprehensive and expansive exercise tracking, Stainless-steel version looks watch-like, Easy-to-read display in all lighting, Two-day battery with light usage, You can scroll Twitter on a watch
Still limited third-party app support, ECG monitoring still not live, Incremental performance over old model
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 is a chic smartwatch with many functions. Compared to the Galaxy Watch Active, which was introduced in February together with the Galaxy S10 , the leaps forward are small.
Flawless performance, Excellent AMOLED display, Digital bezel works well, Attractive design, Always-on display
Samsung bloatware required, Bixby is still awful, Poor third-party app support
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 for about a week now, and it has accomplished something remarkable: it’s made me decide to stop saying there are no good smartwatch options for Android users.
Touch-sensitive bezel, Offline Spotify, Decent battery life
Requires too many Samsung phone apps to work, Bixby, No good mapping solutions
The Samsung Galaxy Active2 smartwatch adds LTE connectivity along with a few useful new features, but it's not a compelling upgrade over the original model.
Digital rotating bezel makes navigation easier. Available in two sizes. LTE connectivity.
Inconsistent battery life and fitness accuracy in testing. Limited iOS compatibility. Thick bezel.
Update: The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 Under Armour edition is now on sale. Details here!...
Sleek, premium design Sharp AMOLED display Touch-enabled bezel for quick navigation Bluetooth + LTE variants for more flexibility ~2 day battery life Fantastic sleep tracking
No MST payments with Samsung Pay Tizen app ecosystem is still lacking compared to Wear OS Heart rate, GPS, and altimeter sensors can be wonky Setup process still needs work
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is a minor upgrade on its predecessor, adding a digital rotating dial, bigger version, currently inactive ECG, and LTE option. But it's also considerably more costly, putting a hefty price on only a few extra features.
Digital haptic dial control is great, Still decent 2-day battery life, Attractive minimalist design
Pricey upgrade, Still very few third-party apps
Samsung's Galaxy Watch Active 2 adds bezel controls and more size varieties to an already gorgeous smartwatch
The watch is easy to use and the battery is good as well.
Comfortable to wear, digital touch bezel is a good way of navigating the interface and decent feature set . Decent customisation but lacking third party app support but realistically not that many apps I want to use on a watch screen anyway.
This watch is awesome and I hope people who buy this watch enjoy it just as much as me.
I have had my watch since release date and have a scratch on the screen however according to the spec says it is scratch resistant? Samsung can you verify this and also if you are able to rectify my watch via the warranty/guarantee??
It’s ok got it for my daughter for xmas
This is a great watch and easy to use and check your stuff out on the go... Check calls messages app and that on your phone... Great price and the best smart watch on the market.... Looks good whe I it on your wrist and you can got plenty of chocie with the strap you want......
Does everything you need it to and more. So much choice in watch faces and apps. Only down side is I wish it had a better battery life of just over a day.
Very good worth the money
I really love this watch
love it would definitely recommend wouldn't regret it
