Worst Customer Experience/Products Ever
this cooktop broke after 2 years. they sent out 2 companies as a “1 time acommodation” both were terrible and had no clue what they were doing. after 3+ months and them approving an exhchage 4x, i still do not have a cooktop. its a contiounous circle of horrible customer service. ive been told the exchange is coming for months now and everytime i check up they say they cant do it and try to give me some ridiculous prorated refund. my kitch was designed around this samsung package and ive had issues with 3 out of 4 of my appliances in the first i would never recommend any of these products to anyome and pray that no one will ever have to go through this process that i have. dont ever buy this product or any of these appliances! i promise you will be dissappointed. 10k package of junk!

Bad design, cannot use with wet fingers
induction great; buttons = extremely poor design and very difficult to use, making the experience using this stove not plesant at all. if your fingers arent completely dry or a little liquid splashes on tbe dials- the stove can change the temperature on its own or just short circuit and reset in the middle of cooking.
had for 6 months - wanted to see if maybe it just took some adjustment on the way we cook, but it regularly continues to be a problem.

We use it on a dedicated 240 breaker
Heats up a big pot of water soooo fast!!!
And same for pans to stir fry or fry an egg!!!
Reccomended for whoever wants the best quality and a cool sleek modern design and likes to cook.. I love to cook home and I’m Italian so I do real real food and this coocktop is very good!!! You can even leave stuff going while you leave cause there’s features that stops the heat if water drips on the coocktop.. and of course no gas to burn your house down!!! 5 stars I would give 6 if it was possible

Works Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the 36" cookstop for about a year now and overall very happy with it. The performance beats the old electric coil cooktop that it replaced. Although, the performance does varies with different induction approved pots and pans.
Like other reviewers, I found using my finger works better than the magnetic knob to adjust the "heat".
Cooktop touch controls are sensitive to water as others have pointed out. But unlike other reviewers, I don't have an issue with boiling over. My source of agony is with cleaning up splatters while it is cooking. It doesn't like damp cloths being wiped over the controls. IMO its a bit sensitive. But I guess I'll just have to get over my OCD. LOL
Connectivity features are not worth bragging about. It doesn't control anything, just monitors off/on.
Installation instructions were very good, One thing I do wish Samsung would do is to more clearly state (emphasize) the required electrical power requirements. My old electric cooktop was wired for 30 amps. The 36" requires minimum 45 amps. It isn't as easy as just changing circuit breakers, you will highly likely need to upgrade the electrical wires too. This all adds to the overall cost.

DO NOT PURCHASE WITHOUT BUYING THE EXTENDED WARRANTY!
I purchased this cooktop in late 2021 for $2,500.00 and it has stopped working all together. Called Samsung repair and the service tech who came out said it would cost over $2,000.00 to repair. They would have to remove and completely dismantle the cooktop to replace all (4) of the circuit boards inside. It is likely that in a couple of years the same error code would appear and the cooktop would stop working.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best stove I’ve ever cooked on in my life. I’ve used gas and electric ones before. This one, however offers a whole new cooking experience. It just makes cooking so much more enjoyable. Features like the water will never boil over as it automatically adjusts for you make such a difference. All the meals we’ve cooked on ours come out absolutely perfect. I may not be the best cook or chef in the world, but this stove top makes me look a little better at it. Overall, I love it. I never knew what I was missing in my life until we bought this!

Love induction cooking, Hate Samsung controls
induction cooking is great. cooktop doesn't get hot except for heat transferred back from the pan. heating is quick.
however, samsung controls are awful! magnet knob is useless, touch controls will not respond to wife's finger touch, water drops from lifting a lid can either shut it off or change temp setting to high.
title says it all!

Very temperamental!
this cooktop is a piece of junk. the "controls" can hardly be controlled. i'm not even trying to use that unbelievably inferior working turn knob anymore. it is not a refrigerator magnet, which is the only thing it's good for. shortly after i purchased this cooktop, i had some samsung "experts" look at it and they replaced a part that did not improve it at all. i also have reason to believ that the outer ring of the large burner is not working at all. putting a large enough pan on it, it only heats up the middle part. the wifi part of it has never even worked at all!
it is certainly not worth the money!
