The Samsung Odyssey G7 is amazing for gaming. It has a native 240Hz refresh rate, FreeSync support, and it's compatible with NVIDIA's G-SYNC. The response time at its max refresh rate and at 60Hz are both outstanding, resulting in minimal blur.

Outstanding response time., Native FreeSync support and it's G-SYNC compatible., Great contrast ratio., Incredibly low input lag.

Narrow viewing angles.
“Samsung's Odyssey G7 should be the ultimate gaming monitor, but its G-Sync flickering issue holds it back.”
I can’t think of any reason why somebody would purchase a non-gaming monitor, aside from saving a few bucks but severely sacrificing performance. The benefits of fast response and brilliant accurate color extend beyond gaming, but are also crucial to a great gaming experience.
This is one of the most heavily requested monitor reviews we've had in quite some time. Samsung has done well i
A stunning 32in gaming monitor with great colours, an ultra smooth 240Hz refresh rate and an immersive 1000R curve

+
Immersive 1000R curve, Responsive 240Hz panel, HDR content looks great
-
-
Occupies a lot of desk space, OSD controls awkwardly placed
The 1000R radius is tighter than the 1800R shape used most other curved displays, and it makes lots of sense – it’s more in tune with the shape of people’s eyes and is designed to look its best when you’re sat around a metre from the screen, which is normal for PC gamers.

Immersive curved design, Great 240Hz AMD FreeSync, Impressive image quality, Loads of adjustment options

Could do with some more ports, Not the best HDR options, Not cheap
VA panels have never been this fast, colourful or curved. It might be a little awkward to assemble, but the Samsung Odyssey G7 delivers a big, bright and attractive gaming screen that gives a highly immersive experience.

Excellent colours, G-Sync and FreeSync, Lightweight, 1000R curves

Awkward assembly
va panels have always been notorious for having flickering issues with g-sync. i had the last gen model of this samsung monitor and when freesync regular engine was used it was ok, but ultimate engine, which seems to have been replaced by adaptive sync on this monitor, it is exactly the same issue.
the G7 is a great monitor i liked the curve to it didn't see the difference from a normal flat monitor the stand was simple enough to install although the legs where to long for my desk my keyboard was to close to my body being in front of the legs a monitor arm i would suggest if your desk is not...
Hands down the best monitor I have ever owned. I play mainly FPS games and this things does not disappoint compared to my TN monitor. Better input lag, faster refresh rates, better colors... just better overall. Get this thing... now!
this monitor randomly and suddenly goes dark (sleeps), turns on, then turns off completely if g-sync is enabled. i have to turn off the computer, turn it on, then quickly turn g-sync off to avoid the problem. g-sync works ok while running a game. the shutdown happens in windows desktop.
At first I was hesitant to buy this monitor. Though it met all the specifications I was looking for (240hz, 27in., 1440p), but I have been using a flat screen monitor for so long that a curved monitor was something I thought I wasn't going to get used to, but I figured that I could just return it if...
pros:- the display looks great when it works!- 240hz is smooth as butter- lots of features- updateable bioscons:- the product page online redirects to the wrong product entirely, so it's practically impossible to find the right info- initial led flickering issues eventually fixed with bios...
this monitor is just about as good as it gets. with an intuitive and easy to use menu that is full of features. no longer having the issues with flickering while using gsync as it was fixed in a firmware update. amazing colors with 10 bit and buttery smooth frame rates with its 240hz panel.
amazing experience. i love this monitor, i have 2 of them in my set up. completely amazing and buttery silky smooth.however there are some things to consider. the screens are extremely reflective and any light does have considerable reflection issues so this monitor needs to be in a dark room.
This monitor replaced my 21 inch zSamsung Syncmaster. The curved is great when working all day takes away a lot of eye strain. The colors are vivid and the blacks are super deep. I can see no motion blur when gaming. Going from 60 Hz to 240 Hz refresh rate is incredible.
i love the monitor. tt's very fast, clear and bright! the only thing i would change on it is when shutting down w10 the monitor continues to blink blue. very irritating when i turn off my computer.
