It's great but o think it's wiser to save a little more and go with the KVX... Sales guy told me the only difference was the hihat... But then i found out the ride is better on the KVX, since it also has a bell... The crashes are better and you get an extra one.
Perfect Drum Kit for the Intermediate Drummer or The Weekend Warrior... Has everything you need to rip off face melting drum solos and if you decide you need more then you can go ahead and add more equipment to it for Roland has it all...
This is an amazing drum set and I love playing it!! It is so easy to set up and ready to start right up. The sound is outstanding and the different functions are excellent. I love the blue tooth function and the recording of songs on your devices while you are playing.
Recently bought Roland’s TD-17 and the bass drum is already ripping from the top. Bought the kit 2 months ago and I play once or twice a week. Other than that, the kit is actually pretty sweet.
Really enjoy this kit. Mainly bought for the pads and module. Cymbals are lacking in my opinion. Lack of a triple zone ride was a bummer so I had to buy that right out the gate. Wish there were more expansion slots for additional pads/cymbals.
I'm around intermediate-level from drumming and I found this kit to work great. Good response and feel. Super user-friendly. A great alternative to acoustic when you have roommates. I love the coaching features as well that can help you improve your time.
My 8-year-old TD-4 began to have module problems. After weeks of research, watching and reading numerous reviews, I decided on the TD-17KV. It is beyond my expectations. The ability to customize offers hundreds of sound possibilities.The factory defaults are fantastic!
This thing is amazing and really fun to play day or night. I got it for my son and he loves it. Great to not have to hear him practicing all the time too!

Durable, Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Sound
Great product, easy to set up. Drums sound great plus lots of room for customizing the kits.
Pads have great feel and the Bluetooth connection is great for practicing.
