Crackles
These speakers work great for the most part! I’ve never really had an issue with quality until recently. While viewing some movies/shows on Hulu+ Live the speakers will crackle. Roku has sent me three different sets of speakers, sadly the problem continues to persist. I don’t believe it is hardware related, but software related. Sadly, I’ve grown tired of the same game and repetitive process and requested a refund which Roku has started the process. I will say that customer service has been great! The constant email reminders can be slightly irritating, but the replacement process was great! Hopefully Roku can solve this problem, and maybe I’ll have to buy another set.

Sound good! Work less after about a year.
I’ve had my speakers since they first came out. I use it them with my Roku 4K TV. The sound is good and much better than stock TV speakers. Likewise, a few different sound modes and adjustments are available, which enhances my sound even more.
That said, after about 1 year, they seem to lose their pairing nightly and have to automatically reconnect, which they do. But you miss out on some sound until they do. It becomes a nuisance.
This sort of tells me that they aren’t made for the long haul, only to get you last the warranty period.
I can’t say that I WOULDN’T by them, the sound is good, but if the connectivity becomes more and more sporadic, then I won’t buy them again.

Not loud enough in Surround...
I have had these for a few weeks now. They only play in surround sound if the movie your watching is in 5.1. You can also set them up as just another set of speakers (for music for example), but when your watching regular TV - lets say YouTube...they are basically turned off. Even in surround sound they are very quiet. I had read similar reviews and it turns out too be true. I am a big fan of Roku..but these need to be reworked. You can "fake" surround sound in the settings as well. Nope..still not very loud. I have to put my ear up against the speaker to see if they are actually working. I have had Bose and Sonos in the past and there is a reason why these are so much cheaper. Sorry Roku!

No more soundbar - a Roku TV must have.
I bought a Roku TV and within two days I knew I was not going to be satisfied with the built-in TV speakers. And, my current soundbar is mediocre, at best. I decided to try the Roku TV Wireless Speaker bundle. They were easy to connect and setup, and the sound is great.
Also:
- The enhanced remote that comes with the speakers replaces the Roku TV IR line-of-sight remote and the soundbar remote as the Roku Speakers replaced the soundbar.
- Connecting to the Roku TV is simple
- Connecting Bluetooth devices to play music is easy
- They sound great. Speaker placement and directional adjustments provide richer, lower bass sounds and clear vocals as well.

Superb sound
I have only had these for a day. As we all know the Roku televisions generally have subpar speakers in them that make it difficult to hear. In my living room I have a 3.1 channel sound bar which works great but my bedroom I had nothing until these arrived. Like a kid on Christmas I immediately set them up and they were booming. I live in an apartment so this was a problem. I made some adjustments and ran some tests and they are perfect. I can clearly hear voices in shows and movies that were difficult before and I have reduced the bass so my neighbors do not hate me. I strongly recommend these to any Roku television owner.

Grandma LOVES THEM!!
I bought a 43" Roku TV and the speakers for my grandmother who is hard of hearing. She's 93 and has trouble with ANY kind of tech... (Navigation is confusing) I was able to integrate her "routine" into a new TV and with a larger screen AND big sound. She can now enjoy her TV shows and HEAR what's going on... We're introducing her to 4K and other channels but she forgets how to navigate... (Oh well we tried) Overall a great buy and super cheap for what they do... Move over Bose... Roku is reinventing the TV experience... A-la carte style!
ARE THERE SURROUND VERSIONS COMING OUT ANYTIME SOON WITH A SUBWOOFER?

Annoying sound.
I bought this last oct 23 and I received it yesterday oct 29 I set it up and It was easy like what they said and then after my 3rd movie when I about to start my 4th it’s suddenly produce a annoying sound like “tak tak tak tak” it’s not even fading away or any sign that it might be fade away later on even tho I tried to reset, to pair it again on my tv, to unplug and plug in again, it’s like hearing my wall clock but thru speaker. It’s totally very disappointing and Annoying to have this problem, so now I have to return it to you and pay for the shipment. It’s really bothering.

I am a Roku fan. I have 3 sticks, 2 tvs and now a set of speakers. The speakers are definitely an upgrade to the tv speakers and I recommend purchasing. They are so easy to set up and sound quality although not high end, is very good. No issues with connectivity as seen in other posts. However the voice control is useless- it never recognizes anything other than iheart radio or pandora. And the extra table top remote doesn't need to be included, could have saved $30 off the purchase price. The handheld remote has voice recognition so use that rather than have some black square laying around your house randomly. Wish I could send it back for a refund cuz it will never be used.
