First Rokinon I have owned and very impressed. I have only had it a week but already proved it's worth. Turned a sterile office environment into a visually pleasing backdrop with it's large DOF drop-off. Shooting 4K with a Sony FS7, simply outstanding and have since purchased more Rokinon lenses.

This lens rocks!! Can't believe it's priced at this for such high quality glass and build. Also picked up the 24mm, 35mm, and 85mm. This is such a steal for both video and photos!

I got this lens to use mostly for shooting short films, however once you try to use it to take photos, the colors are muddy and ugly, and the sharpness goes down by a lot.

I already had the 24, 35 & 85mm lenses in this lineup, but the 50mm has quickly become my favorite. Sharp edge to edge and much better color than many lenses in the same price range. I use this with a RED Scarlet and I think it stacks up against lenses many times the price.

I definitely recommend Rokinon Cine DS lenses if you are on budget, like me. They do lack electronic connectors, but they are so well-built that you can easily adjust its focus and aperture. Its performance is awesome for both photographs and moving picture.

Optical quality is just as good as the 35mm. Great Lens, I love knowing that I have it. HOWEVER, the focus ring is very tight...I no longer can use my current follow focus system, because the whole camera sort of, moves, on the tripod baseplate slightly as i try to turn to focus system.

A good cinema styled lens with plenty of bang for the buck. Fast, reasonably sharp and built more solid than you would expect from the prize. The lens delivers good picture and decent mechanics even if the short throw of the focus ring is not ideal for cinema style shooting.

As close as you can get to a canon Prime lens without spending all the money. Love this lens!! Rokinon gives you a lot of bang for your buck!

Picked this during the holiday sale. Ive upgraded from the Canon 50mm f/1.8 and this is major. Love the buttery smooth focus and aperture. Ill be using this for event videography so its great for rack focusing on details or changing exposure outdoors without having hard stops from aperture clicks or...

This may be pricey but definitely see a difference from using a still frame lens. The picture is much clearer and brighter
